One of the best 3 star hotels I've used, better then many 4 star. Food excellent, staff attentive and very friendly. Rooms big, very comfortable and clean. Wished I could have stayed another few days.

We stayed the night as we were flying out of Dublin the next morning. Great location close to airport(10 min). Downhill from there! Reception and bar staff very helpful. A terrible meal, worst we’ve had after 9 weeks away. We did not finish our meals and were not asked was there a problem. We were kept awake until 2am by loud thumping music downstairs. When mentioned next morning reception staff was apologetic but that was all! Would not under any circumstances stay here again. Many other options in town.

The staff are the rudest staff I've ever come across. Given an awful room, would have been better off staying in some old spare room with a leaky roof. Staff acted like every problem was a joke to them. Clearly gave the nice rooms to the "nice" people, and only treat those with respect. I will never stay here again and would greatly encourage anybody I know to steer clear of the place, unless they want to deal with rude staff, and silverfish and broken taps in their bathroom. They definitely delivered on that "unique experience" they promise on the website.

We got a huge room (four beds for two people) and staff was very friendly. Neither the food in the restaurant nor in the bar is recommended though. Hotel rooms and common areas seriously need a revamp.

We visited the Carnegie Court Hotel restaurant on friday evening and were pleasantly surprised to discover that they have recently revamped their restaurant. Apparently to mark the re-opening they are offering a 4 course meal including an 8 oz Steak for €19.99 as an early bird menu. The early bird is up to 9.00 which is even more surprising. It was first class and there were quiet a number of waiters and waitress on hand to ensure a fast and efficient service which was professional and pleasant without being intrusive. I would have no hesitation in recommending having a meal here even after the early bird offer has ended as the food, ambiance service is second to none. It would be wise to book in advance as when the word gets around I imagine it will be a full house every night.
