I found this hotel on booking.com at the last minute. I was totally satisfied and happy with our stay. The staff was wonderful, the rooms extremely clean, and most important the beds were super comfortable. I always have a hard time finding a comfortable bed when traveling across Europe. You won't be disappointed. We will stay here again.

It was quite an adventure to get to the Hotel, but I did arrive ok. I strongly advise to get a GPS when renting a car - that might help.
The Hotel itself was nice enough, the guy at the reception very friendly and offered help with the luggage. There was a funny smell in the room, which indicated a pipe problem.
I chose the Hotel because it was near the airport. I'm not sure if I'd choose it again, because of lack of facilities. For a place so far off the beaten track there should be a Restaurant as well. It is quite tiresome to get on the car again and find a Pub or likewise, especially in the dark.

Dear Christine, Thank you for taking the time to craft your review. A GPS certainly helps when navigating Dublin roads, we are delighted that you found us ok and that our staff were so welcoming. I have passed your kind and encouraging words onto our reception team. We do not offer a restaurant but we do have a snack bar, toasted sandwiches and pizzas available 24 hours a day as well as fresh cooked breakfasts every morning. We would love the chance to host you again the next time you are in Dublin. Kind Regards, Michelle Doyle

Quite noisy because as people arrive and leave.
The room, the bath and the bed are really big and clean.
There are enough parking lots beside of the hotel. It's easy to reach from the airport and the city, but only by car or taxi.
It's okay for a over night stay when you arrive late or depart early.

I fly 150,000 miles a year. I stay in hotels maybe 20 weeks a year. I have 120 reviews. This is one of the worst hotels in a decade. It is not the worst because it is a bad hotel. It is not just the scary drive up, the bad service, the desk man acts like he would rather be home watching television, that it is in a bad part of town, note the pictures of the views included, with bad room insulation, see the record of my neighbors phone call below or the bad amenities, see the photo, NOOOOO it is also bad because they lie about everything about the hotel. Most hotels cost about 22Euros from the city by taxi - this one is called airport and was 32E. Most airport hotels have a shuttle because they are close to the airport this is a 15E taxi ride ( add that to your cheap hotel rate). This hotel shows pictures of how nice it is - see my real pictures of the views and the amenities and the facilities.

Their website says the Dublin Airport Manor offers luxury accommodation near Dublin Airport. There could be nothing further from the truth. The idea of 5 minutes means close and cheap and it could not be further from the truth. They talk about the peace and tranquility of the countryside. I had tractor trailer lorries driving under my window on the way to the repair shop next door in the pictures below. The homely atmosphere must be the fact that they have a mini fridge with beer and three menus from horrible restaurants to order from. I do not know what this refers to.

Do the pictures look lile luxury? Does 33E seem like close to the city. You can hear the trucks pulling in under the window to go to the repair yard in back. I am currently listening to the guy in the next room talk to his girlfriend on his cell phone and her name is MARY. Really should I be able to hear the conversation so clearly I know her name. Later I listened to him snore, if it wasn't so bad you would have to laugh. I am booked in here for 99E and it is worth about 50. Please do your self and your friends a favor - Don't let them drive drunk and don't let them stay here.

Not worth the price. Over e100 for the few hours we tried to sleep. Fortunately there was three of us sharing the room otherwise it would have been a total financial disaster. The bathroom ceiling was leaking directly onto our toilet below. A shower cap was provided but the leaking stopped eventually, thankfully. A continuous stream of taxi cabs pulling up outside our window with the engines running meant we got no sleep. The bathroom bin had not been emptied before we arrived and contained a colourful collection of used sanitary pads. Other than the guy who dried our ceiling, who was very helpful, I can't say anything good about the place. Drop the price and it might be acceptable. Sorry :/

Check my reviews I don't usually write negative ones but I have to here. Place is very drab. Coffee maker in the breakfast room was absolutely disgusting. Wouldn't consider eating anything there after that. No attention to detail when cleaning. Every corner was full of dust or hair. I would not recommend even for convenience to airport.

This place looks like it was a nice hotel when it was first built, but it has not been well kept. First impressions were not great when pulling into the car park driving across mountains and valleys of pot holes that nearly swollowed the car.
When walking up to the building, the outside was very dingy and in need of a pressure wash. While in the lobby, there were a few items of note, most of which was the carpet that was not properly installed with exposed carpet ends and the occasional view of the plywood subfloor. On the walk to the room, many areas of carpet were stained and require steam cleaning or replacement. Once we got into the room, the formally white grout in the bathroom is now black with mold and mildew and there were more carpet stains. The beds were all spring, with no pillow top, and not very comfortable. Lastly the toilet would gurgle and bubble for about 30min every time we flushed it.

The only decent parts to this hotel were Tracey seemed very nice at check-in, and the cleaning job on the beds, sinks, counters, and bath were spotless.

The hospitality of the staff seems great, the property looks like it has potential, but the place is very poorly managed.

Dear Jeffrey, Thank you for your feedback! We appreciate your comments! Just want to let you know that we are already working on everything you have already mentioned! We are currently looking into fixing the road coming to the hotel and also improving the overall appearance of the building. There is a plan put into place regarding refurbishing some of the rooms and changing the grout in the bathrooms and updating some of them, replacing carpets etc. If you do decide to come in the near future, you will be able to see all the changes we are working on. Kind Regards Mariella

We spent one night here. the positives. The Inn is close to the airport and through booking.com the check in process worked smoothly. they did ask for the credit card that i made the reservation and prepayment with and luckily i brought the same card so no issues. room was big and everything worked fine. We did not eat breakfast as our flight was early. (Get to the airport early if going to US as there are numerous security checks for AA flights to USA. BTW, this hotel is close to NOTHING but the airport. No big deal for us but it is a big deal if you dont have transportation and need to go out for dinner. WIFI worked fine in the room.
Now the negative and it was so bad, we would not come back. Our room faced the back. The room had no air conditioning and being right by the airport- you can see the wreck coming- it was noisy as planes took off and landed. Really noisy not just a little noisy as the planes came very close. If you closed the window it was about 80 in the room. Finally at 23:15, i closed the window and decided that i couldnt put up with the noise any longer. Of course, i couldnt sleep becuase of the heat.

Tyler W, Manager at Dublin Airport Manor, responded to this review Dear Guest, I am sorry to hear that you were not fully satisfied with your stay with us here at Dublin Airport Manor, From what I can see you were not made aware of the fact that there is a lovely town called swords which we are closer to than the airport , Swords has a great selection of pubs and restaurants for a great evening of fun and food. I do apologize that the reception staff did not point this out to you during check in and will look into why that was the case. As for the heat and noise I am very sorry that your stay was uncomfortable however as we are an airport hotel we are by nature close to the airport and as such the planes fly quiet low over the property from time to time, there is not much that can be done about this issue unfortunately. we are always willing to help our guests to the best of our ability and if you had mentioned to reception that it was to warm in the room we would have been happy to provide you with a fan. I do hope you would give us the opportunity to change your view on the hotel the next time you visit Dublin. Regards Tyler General Manager

This is a lovely, clean comfortable hotel with great staff but any stars I would have given for it are completely obliterated by the sheer inconvenience of the location. Yes, it is near the airport and looking at their website and a map it appears to be nicely situated however, the only way to get there is to drive yourself or a 20 euro taxi ride. It is not within walking distance to any restaurants, buses, or stores. In order to go into the city center to see the sites we had to take taxi to the airport then get a bus ticket into town. Every local we spoke to said ah, that's the one in the middle of nowhere. I would not recommend this place unless you have a vehicle and aren't going into the city center.

While I have no complaints about this hotel, the fact that it does not run a shuttle service to the airport means that you need to use a taxi which will add about 30 euros to the cost of a stay .

I think this poor facility should be highlighted in red to warn potential customers of this and the consequent added cost.

Dear GUest, Thank you for taking the time to leave us some much appreciated feedback. We are delighted that you had no complaints with our property but saddened to learn that you were not aware of our exact location. We do use a local taxi company to ensure great rates to and from the airport ( a fixed rate of €12 each way) , I am sorry that this was an inconvenience to you. Dublin bus have recently started a service accross the road from us (the 41X) for future reference, and although they are only offering a limted service this will definately make your next stay with us much easier. Kind Regards, Michelle Doyle, General Manager
