Arrived at Seamount bed and breakfast at the time arranged with Elaine to be greeted by elaine and the smell of dog only for her to tell me my room wasn't quiet ready so had to wait for it to be finished apparently the cleaner hadn't turned up on the day I was due to arrive. Wasn't impressed that had to pay upfront even though Elaine hadn't actually told me this at the time of booking Elaine had stated she wasn't doing breakfast due to the pandemic but on reading other reviews she had done breakfast for a couple a few months prior in the height of the pandemic. Elaine left me a note in my room telling me off cause I hadn't closed the window as if I was a child. My room wasn't cleaned all week I certainly wouldn't return to this bed and breakfast my bathroom had damp and the whole place is dirty and run down. Elaine also told me her cleaner would be coming at 11am on the day I was checking out so I would have to check out earlier when she new my flight wasn't intil after 4pm ! The whole place could do with a good deep clean my room was thick with dust and previous people hair all over had I not already paid upfront I wouldn't have stayed but obviously due to already paying I knew I wouldn't get my money back from Elaine all I can say is AVOID at all costs look elsewhere cause I'm sure you can find somewhere a whole lot cleaner and more pleasantly smelling

Comfortable. Value. Location. This is a great value for the price. Dublin is small enough that this was a good location on the outskirts of Dublin (very close to airport) for easy access to the city (15" drive) plus being close to the beach/town at Malahide plus within walking distance to old-town Swords. Rooms are decent sized and cozy. Each room has a separate bathroom/shower. Hot breakfast is good. Elaine, the host, was helpful with information about getting around and things to do within the city. Good, basic accommodation. TIPS: best for those driving/arriving by car; nearby access to trains/buses (we did not use these but are available), great access to airport

The rooms are nice and tidy, the breakfast was good and also the host Elaine is friendly. We had booked two dooble rooms at a reasonable price ( 85 € per room including breakfast). However in one room the shower was merely dripping and in the other room the toilet flush wasn't always working

We spent a long weekend at Seamount House B&B and we were very satisfied. We booked a double en suite with bathroom and Elaine mentioned to us already during booking that the room is small. However we travel light and found the room suitable enough with no problems. Elaine has been a great host. Out flights to Dublin were extremely delayed and yet she was willing to wait for us until very late at night. There is nothing better then arriving into a ready warm room after a day spent at the airports and this improved our whole stay. Thank you again! Every day we agreed on the time for breakfast and Elaine would have a table and cooked breakfast ready for us. We actually enjoyed the 15 min from and to centrum of Swords and have not found it any problem. We also took a long walk to the beach at Malahide, which we recommend to visit (you can also take a bus) P.S.: Make sure you enjoy Fish&Chips in the harbour in Malahide

Excellent location for Dublin Airport. Very pleasant owner who was very helpful with local information. Clean comfortable rooms that are warm. Easy access to a pub and a 24 hour petrol station close by. Highly recommended.
