Fantastic quiet room. Beautiful decor and comfortable bed. In room breakfast had a wide of variety options and was very smartly set up in the armoire in the room. Check in was smooth and communication was quick and comprehensive with Dominika. Parking was free and right outside.

The plus: the room is perfectly clean , the decoration is great and every detail counts , you can find whatever you need and it's well equipped . The location is easy to reach , without a car and you 'll get provided with the information you need if you want to find restaurants and pubs around. The minus: I agree with a previous review where we can read about scents and perfume: it is strong in the corridor and even the sheets . The breakfast : at first sight, it is impressive with all the details ( sweets, cakes ) but nevertheless, the quality does not match what we are used to : only one wrapped pastry for two , the bread smells of perfume too in the plastic bag for example. To conclude, lots of little touches but things to improve about the quality.

Dan was a fantastic host! We arrived from the airport, which is close by, and Dan showed us to our room. He gave great recommendations for dinner in Swords and helped us decide what to do in Dublin the next day. The room was cozy and comfortable. They thought of everything you could possibly need. It was easy to get a taxi/Uber or bus into the city center.

We loved this B&B. It has been furnished to a very high standard and very clean. Dom was there to greet us she was lovely even offered to drop us off at the local pub. The room had a lot of extra finishing touches (a little thank you for your stay with some roses chocs). The continental breakfast in the room was a fab idea with cereals croissants meats cheese yoghurts etc. Really well presented. If anyone is looking for staying near the Airport or in Swords I would highly recommend Rose Cottag. We loved it.

The owner welcomed us as we were fumbling with the key box. Our room was a delight - large, clean and well set out. We had had doubts about the breakfast left in the room, but it was plentiful with pastries, fruit, cereal, yoghurt, bread, jam as well as other treats and snacks. Everything was well thought out and nothing was lacking in either the room or ensuite bathroom. For visitors not having the luck of meeting the owner, all the necessary details for entering were sent by email and again by text message. Much to my partner's delight, there was even Netflix on the TV. This address is also handy for the airport and there is a folder in the room listing places to dine. All in all, an excellent place to stay.

Excellent reception. Clean rooms and what a collection of treats and snacks they set you up with. I only wish we could check-in sooner than 4pm. There is free Wi-Fi and the rooms are connected to Amazon Prime and Netflix. Excellent spot to stay and relax before a busy travel day. For the price, it can't be beat!

We were so well looked after at Rose Cottage. We had 10pm flight so booked for two nights including the night we left. This was such a good investment. We followed the suggestion of the hosts to visit a local castle in the morning, then spent the afternoon watching movies whilst we packed. The breakfast supplies were delicious, high quality & generous. The airport was a 10 minute easy drive. Room was comfortable & high quality. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for a great stay.

We did meet the owner but evidently that is rare. We were emailed all the info we needed to get the key and let ourselves in and out. Roadside parking by a park made it a little difficult when people were using the park. Fantastic spread for breakfast all in a cabinet and refrigerator in our room. Really appreciated the info on the back roads to get to the airport in 6 km or so. Thin walls is my real complaint. I heard the neighbors who were not loud, but coughed and talked as expected from people. Put us at unease about just speaking softly in our own room. Close to several restaurants and a petrol station for refueling the rental car the night before our flight out.

Dan has orchestrated this B&B to greatly facilitate an early flight from Dublin airport. It's a comfortable property, in a quiet neighborhood, just 15 minutes from the airport. Although he will graciously help with bags and provided teriffic advice he has also implemeted a process to allow your autonomus arrival and departure. The emails tell one where to find the individual room keys as you arrive and in the rooms is the most effective, custom made, notebook I've encountered. Within it is a map, complete with gas stations and resturants. Parking is available right out front and there seems to be plenty. A few fast-food resturants and one pub are a short walk across the soccer field but we chose to drive to town center. You will have to pay for parking here. We discovered a large mall where the locals shop. Prices were great and the products familiar. Our room was very comfortable, and SURPRISE...the continental breakfast is resident within an armoire. But it is complete with breads, cereals, fruits, refigerated milk and juice. It's quite adequate and hands-on for the expeditious escape. Payment is already completed so leave the keys in the room and step out quietly.
