Shocking service last Saturday. Large family group booked for two communions. Waited nearly two hrs for starters. After 3.5 hrs, still no sign of dinners, excuses from Manager but no clear idea if we would ever get dinner so we had to leave. Completely ruined kids day. Only one bouncy castle, other one was burst, no kids entertainment (meant to be face painting). Other tables left too, never saw anything like it! Would never trust them with an important day after this.

Stayed Here last Weekend for a Friends Wedding, and have to be honest before the invite came I'd never heard of Lispopple, never mind Kettles Country House Hotel. Well Folks gotta be honest, it didn't disappoint. Arrived around 2pm but were told that our room wasn't ready. No Problem we headed for the bar and ordered 2 Chicken Wraps. Bar was quite busy and they took a little bit of time but when they came they were really tasty, a nice fill you up before the main event. Checked into our room at 2:30pm, room was Small enough but for the price paid very satisfactory on looks alone. The Wedding was lovely, although it did start off with a bit of Delay for the bride (and Ironically not her fault, with Bin Lorry's choosing just as she was about to arrive to collect). The Ceremony was lovely, a nice outdoor area which got the weather on the day. Short and Sweet Service and it was onto the ballroom. The Ballroom had a great set up, nice Champagne Arrival, Pick and Mix Sweet Cart, along with every Irishman's post wedding Hangover cure "Tayto Sandwiches". The Meal Itself was Delicious, Chicken and Mushroom Volavants to start, followed by Vegetable Soup, a Choice of Beef or Turkey and Ham, and a Melody of Deserts. Honestly guys I couldn't finish my desert, I was stuffed after the 2 starters and Main. Full Compliments to the Chefs, but way too much food. Finished the night off with some great dancings, although have to say, Not a Great DJ if I'm Honest. When we retired to the room, I have to say, and bare in Mind I work in a 5 Star Hotel, Possibly the Most Comfortable Bed I've ever slept in a hotel. My god I was out like a light from the minute my head hit the pillow. Lovely shower the next morning as well. Breakfast is basic enough, Full Irish or Continental, Does the Job. Guys I have to say, yee truly are a hidden gem in North County Dublin. If I'm ever in the area again, You're on my list now! Thanks Again!

This hotel is located a short distance from the airport. There is really no reason to stay at this hotel other than its proximity to the airport. The restaurant is average. There isn’t much to do around the hotel since it’s located on a country road. The rooms are a good size. The bathroom is clean and large. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is free parking on site.

From the moment we stepped inside, the welcome began. It was like going to dinner in a well-loved family member's home. My 90 plus year old Mum and I had had a long day at a medical appointment and were a bit dazed and exhausted and in need of TLC which we got, especially from Fiona. The food, roast beef and vegetables, was delicious, everything was bursting with flavour, the desserts were scrummy and even the water tasted good. The atmosphere was great and all the staff including the owner were very attentive. The countryside around the hotel is breath-taking and only a short distance from Dublin. We'll be back soon

Kettles Hotel If this place didn’t exist they would have to invent in a film about a 5 star hotel with wonderful staff pretending to be a three star. There would be a magical welcoming receptionist who asks how your( long ) journey was and chats away about your visit and tells you the options for dinner- giving you the sense that a million locals will be here ( which they were) but not to worry it would be grand. “And if you are going to be a little late just give me a call” And so it was . A Carvery until 8 on Sunday was bustling , yet even after a long day for Chef’s ,was served fresh and full of flavours.Particular thanks to the manager who took over the line for last stragglers and carved and cared that young people with us got fed. A proper bar had a great selection and wise people who knew how to run one while wait staff went efficiently and checked if everything was satisfactory. The place ran like you joined a family gathering . Room 202 was another pleasant surprise. Airy and large( and even had a bath) the TV electronics and plugs and sockets you could want and a proper chair and corner lamp to read a book. In short Kettles are a credit to themselves and the tradition of Irish Hospitality. There really should be a film about them . Value for money 5/5. Cead mile Failte 5/5 . Room 5/5 Team 5/5. Well done and thank you.

Met with family Sunday dinner, we hadn't been to kettles in a while, we were seated very quickly especially as it was a busy day for them, The food was lovely, they had a great selection & it was fresh & very hot, staff are lovely especially Linda, even though she was busy she had time to check on us & have a quick chat she also made time to go through the dessert menu with us, unfortunately there was no option for a family member for dessert as she has dietary requirements so a bit more GF & VG options are a must especially as other similar establishments already have a great selection so this may deter us from going as often as we would like unfortunately as it would be our first choice otherwise
