I have stayed at Seawinds B&B for approx 1 month at the end of 2021 and had a great experience there.
The room was spacious, warm & comfortable. The internet connection was impeccable (it was vital for me as I was working from there / « Home-office »).
During my stay I felt very safe and welcomed by Patricia & Gerard who are the very friendly hosts of Seawinds B&B, they had plenty of suggestions of places to visit in the area and were always helpful.
The big plus was the buffet that always displayed fresh fruits, the chimney in the living room that provided a pleasant feeling and the fully equipped kitchen.
Overall the House was kept clean and the rules regarding covid were applied.
I’m happy I decided to stay at Seawinds and would definitely come back.

I was recommended Seawinds by a friend and I was just in a great place and easy to find and we got a parking spot. The rooms were spick and span and with ensuite. Nothing was any problem with Patricie. My hubby would have loved a fry but thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast he got. Especially the scones just out of the oven
The guesthouse had their own map for getting to the sights and it was great. The only downside was we had like an old fashioned TV and the signal kept going off. The chip shop next to it is fantastic. Great hosts.

Spent the weekend here to explore Southern Donegal. Could not fault our stay here. We had a seaview room and it was lovely waking in the morning to see the boats.
Breakfast was lovely, with homemade scones and a variety of choice.
We were travelling with a baby and our host, put a cot in the room and was very thoughtful giving us extra sheets and blankets so the cot was comfortable.
There was also a kitchen that guests could use, even with a fridge to store food etc.
Our host also provided us with a map with attractions which we should visit whilst in the area. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We called up when we arrived in Killybegs and saw the sign for B&B. Luckily, they had availability. Patricia showed us where to park, and then brought us in. She asked us to remove our shoes and leave them on the rack while inside. We went upstairs to the room and left our stuff. Then we left to explore Killybegs and find a nice place for dinner. Luckily The Boathouse was just above and we were able to snag a reservation for 8:30pm.

We slept very well until we were woken up by Patricia trying to help and elderly man into his room. He may have been a tad over-served. We finally got back to sleep and woke up to find two brown paper bags outside the door with our breakfast. We could have put that togehter in any small market and was not what we really wanted. We took the pieces we liked and left the rest. The things that should be chilled were warm (orange juice and banana) and the things that should be warm were chilled (brown scone). As we had paid the night before, we just showered, got dressed, grabbed our shoes from the rack downstairs and left.
On the positive side, this B&B was perfectly located in the center of town. Our room (#4), did not have a view.

Dear Caroline, It was lovely to meet you both. Thank you for taking the time to send us your feedback on your recent stay with us. We are delighted you enjoyed your visit to Killybegs and chose to stay at Seawinds B&B. The safety of our guests is our priority and we ensure our services are delivered with every precaution possible. We have made some changes to our breakfast, which is a simpler affair, with the continental 'Breakfast to Go' option, consisting of ‘Wild Orchard’ Pure Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice and individually wrapped home-made scones and fresh fruit. These are sourced from top quality Irish companies. It can be eaten in the bedroom where there is tea/coffee facilities or in the breakfast room. We are sorry some of the items were not to your liking. We appreciate your feedback and we will take it on board to improve our services in future. Thank you. Patricia and Gerry

Great service by patrica and gerry! A home treatment 🤗😊 The rooms were tidy, clean and very well organized. Hot tap water was available 24/7. Hot water kettle was also provided which is a need in COVID-19 time. Very well sanitized entry point.

Stayed the best part of a week at Sea Winds B and B in Killybegs. Sea Winds is centrally located, Private off street park area, which is secure and well lit. My room with en - suite bath was well lit, spotless clean and comfortably warm, ( weather out side was quite cold).

Patricia and Gerry could not do enough to make my stay perfect, including a small fridge in the room.

Breakfast, delicious Freshly made scones, homemade preserves, tea, fresh milk, homemade yogurt with fruit, and pieces of fruit, wonderful start to my day.

Guest laundry available, very reasonable.

Thank you Patricia and Gerry for making my stay perfect in every way.

Seawinds B&B is my favourite place to stay in Killybegs. I had stayed in a number of other establishments before discovering Seawinds. Now, every time I visit Killybegs, I stay at Seawinds. It is my home from home there. The welcome is as warm as could be and everything possible is done to ensure that the guest's stay is pleasant and comfortable.

Both Gerry & Patricia will look after you well. They are quite a team. We had room 4 which we booked well in advance of arrival, facing the back no problem as nice room with very comfy beds & good shower room too. Breakfast is continental with style try the yogurt & you will get a freshly made brown scone [really Irish] too. Location is amazing. Right in centre of Killybegs but quiet up a short slope from sea level with ample free car park alongside. We went to Andersons fish mainly restaurant both nights approx 150 meters walk, but you must book it in advance as only a small family owned & family managed eatery. Always busy! Gerry & Patricia have a free to residents home drawn detailed map available which we recommend 100% - allow half a day to travel all the suggested route with stop, but you can do as much or little as you wish.

One of the best accommodations we have stayed in Co Donegal, Patricia and Gerry were very welcoming. The family room was very clean and spacious enough for a family of 4, the fresh scone served every morning was delicious. I highly recommend the Marina Cafe and the Seafood Shack both were only less than 10 mins walk from the B&B. They served the best Calamari ever. Parking is also a bonus. We stayed in the room overlooking the Pier. The magnificent Slieve League is only 30 minutes from the place. We would definitely be back. Thank you so much Patricia and Gerry. From Desiree and family

Nice to be back after 16 years. It was a very nice welcome after a long trip from Dublin. Stayed 7 days and we had a great time in the Donegal area. In the early evening a warm welcome (hearth burning and a hot coffee) to relax.
A relaxed home as starting point to explore this part of Ireland. After a good (continental ++) breakfast with home-made scones and plenty of choice to be prepared for a next active day.
Thank you Patricia and Gerry, you are a great team.
