Off the beaten tourist track, this is a very good choice for a stay. Welcoming hosts, great salmon breakfast, and countryside views. To a bit crowded by closet in way of the bed, but a good bathroom with hit water and a hairdryer.
This was a lovely place - an easy walk to Killybegs (although they offered us a ride into town!) with a comfortable room and great food! Philomena is a good cook and an obliging hostess. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed a lot of sightseeing on the coast and countryside nearby (the town doesn't have a lot for tourists). A good visit, despite the rainy weather - there was only one day without rain in the 13 days that we were in Ireland!
We did a road trip in Ireland in end of July / beginning of August. We traveled with our friends (a couple ) and stayed at Drumbeagh House for one night. We had booked two rooms. We were very late in arriving. Tom and Phil were very accommodating. We had a very comfortable say. Thom and Phil are very caring couple and great hosts. It is a great place to stay and I would definitely stay there if I am in that area.
A wonderful, wonderful house visit. The O'Donnells are hosts that can be compared to the butlers and housekeepers trained by the best schools in the world. The words in the guestbook are great hospitality second to none, lovely, super hi-quality shower, loved the king size bed, amazing b&b,lovely garden, exquisite salmon, better than home, great mattress and pillows and linens, fabulous breakfast, beautiful---the accolades go on and on. And their desire to help all their guests-injured, soaking wet, or tired -recuperate to enjoy this corner of Ireland is obviously heartfelt. Drumbeagh House can not be recommended highly enough. There cannot be a more friendly nor comfortable house in Ireland
Lovely countryside view from our room. Great breakfast, with lovely garden view. Easy walking access to town and facilities. Everywhere in accommodation very clean. Very friendly hosts, thanks Tom and Philomena.
