We went to Killybegs for a wedding and we had an excellent stay at Drumbeagh House with lovely hosts. Lovely room and delicious breakfast. Tom even dropped us into town for the wedding. Thank you Tom and Philomena.
This is a little gem of a B&B in Killybegs County Donegal. Tom and Philomena will give you a warm welcome and the rooms are excellent. Free wi fi. nicely furnished, great shower etc - it makes for a very comfortable place to stay. Breakfast is good, we had barbequed smoked salmon - delicious... and all at a very reasonable rate. Walk into town in 10 mins, Killybegs has lovely harbour and a selection of great restaurants.
…. is Drumbeagh House in Killybegs. Phil and Tom gave us the feeling of being very welcome in their home. Every morning with a humorous and informal “good-morning-conversation”, they always both together served a wonderful breakfast according to our expectations. In addition to the spacious room, there was the opportunity to let the day end in the cozy guest living room. We left with the feeling wanting to visit again and being welcome as well. A wonderful experience, thank you Phil and Tom.
We stayed for a night during a cycle tour in the area and loved the place. The hosts were so welcoming and the breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious. After a day of biking, we were daunted by the hill up to the house, however, it is very short and is quite close to town. For dinner, we walked down into town and had many options to choose from including some recommendations from Tom. There is also wifi in the rooms and a shop nearby to pick up anything you may need.
We stayed one night during our bike tour of Donegal. Phil and Tom were very gracious hosts. Their home is beautiful and spotless. They suggested a great place in town for dinner. Great breakfast cooked to perfection. Would definitely visit again!!! Thanks- Paul and Jeannie
