We stayed 2 nights with Mary when down for a walking weekend in Ballycotton. The house was superbly laid out with quality fittings everywhere and beautiful sea view of Garryvoe Beach and Ballycotton. Huge breakfast and home made brown bread set us up for the day. Great advice from Mary and her family as to where to visit

Stayed there for two nights and I have to say Mary and pa went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The room was very comfortable and the food was excellent. I even made a new friend, their dog hunter. I'll be back, thanks again Mary and pa

I never write reviews. I felt so compelled to do so here, that I even downloaded the bloody app!

What a B&B. Mary, the owner, is an absolute hero! She is kind, welcoming and an all - round lady. Greeted with a slice of Apple pie and a cuppa - what more needs to be said....

The house itself if big, luxurious, warm and comfortable. Massive fry this morning and more tea. The views out the back of the house are stunning!

All of this for €35 p/night. It's as simple as this - if you're in Garryvoe/Ballycotton for any reason, stay here. Even come to the place just to stay a night. Excellent

Stayed for a wedding last year. Hotel was fab. Would highly recommend. Its location is beautiful, stunning views. The drinks reception was fantastic and the staff were very attentive. The dinner was delicious, service was excellent. A lovely touch was that one person was responsible for the wine but unfortunately his name escapes me but he was so friendly and had a word for everyone. Our room was spacious with a view. Really enjoyed our stay and would defo return

Overall you get what you pay for. The rooms are clean. If your in a room with a view your in luck as the views to the beach and island beyond are beautiful. The staff are nice and the lift to the hotel at night, if you plan on having a drink and don't wish to drive, is a nice touch. The breakfast in the morning is very nice and the quality is good. My one small criticism would be how the breakfast is served. You are asked what type of cereal you would like and then handed a small bowl (small) of your choice. It maybe a better idea to set out a large bowl of your choice and be allowed to take from this larger bowl as you please. They do serve a lovely fry once you finish the cereal so it maybe a way leaving room for this, or it may be a way to save money. Either way it would be nice to be allowed to choose how much you would like for yourself. Again this is a small issue and overall I would highly recommend this B&B.

What an unexpected gem. Truly the best bed and breakfast we have stayed in. Mary and her husband where more than hospitable, kind, welcoming and what a beautiful home they offer. The bedrooms are hotel quality, clean and comfortable. You will receive a beautiful "homely" welcome when you arrive. Mary has spectacular taste in decor which is only enhanced by the view from the rear of the property, truly breath taking. The breakfast was outstanding and very tasty, be prepared to be fed a kings breakfast. Thank you so much for making our stay such a pleasure. It was truly a memorable stay in your beautiful home. We stayed at Garryvoe House B&B for 2 nights whilst attending a wedding in Ballycotton. Mary is a truly fantastic host - warm, hospitable, helpful and with a seemingly never-ending supply of delicious home baking. The room was lovely and comfortable, and we were lucky enough to have a sea view out to the island and lighthouse. Breakfast was plentiful and with loads of choice - after cereal, warm croissants and eggs on toast we were well and truly set up for the day (but still managed a sneaky slice of warm apple pie before leaving for the wedding!). We were truly sorry to leave, and hope that we get the opportunity to return one day.

What an amazing B&B, with the most beautiful view over the sea, I almost missed the ruin of the castle, which is just meters from the house as the view of the sea is so incredible. The B&B is spotless with lemongrass burners so smells great too. Breakfast was fab, with eggs fresh from the chickens you can see in the garden. Mary the host is a very warm welcoming host, we had great chats this morning. Would stay here again for sure!!

In June we had attended a wedding in Garryvoe but were a bit slow out of the blocks in booking accommodation in the Garryvoe Hotel so settled for a night at the Garryvoe House B and B. The accommodation is located just that little bit too far to walk in the dark from the hotel but this was well out shone by the genuine friendship of both the husband and wife team that managed the establishment. On arrival we offered tea or coffee and then a lift into the village. The house was bright and very well maintained. The couple were friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was prepared and served by Mrs Dunne while engaging us on locations of interest. The house has panoramic views over the bay and was a tonic for the soul.
The experience was truly fulfilling and excellent value and we hope to have a return visit

Wow, I can't say enough about our stay here. We had three rooms for 4 adults and two children. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed warmly, Mary the owner went out of her way to make us all very comfortable and welcome. The rooms were wonderful, the food delicious and plentiful, the hospitality and welcome out of this world. If we ever find ourselves back in cork, we will cross the county to stay here, with out a doubt a fabulous, fabulous place to stay. Highly recommended
