Checkout time is too early at 11am, check in time too late at 4pm, also very slow service in library bar , reception staff and breakfast staff excellent , beautiful location with beach across the road , we ate dinner the first night in the samphire restaurant and the second night in the lighthouse bistro enjoyed the food and atmosphere much more on the second night in bistro
Liked this hotel. Our bedroom was very nicely decorated and it was large and spacious. We were looking out to the sea and had a little balcony. The breakfast was excellent. The ladies serving breakfast were local and very friendly. The checkin staff were very friendly and informative.
We had a lovely short break . Everything excellent- from reception to room quality to pool to food to checkout . Very disability friendly for either reduced mobility or wheelchair . Lovely , friendly , professional and helpful staff . We will definitely return - Thank you
Gorgeous hotel with such friendly staff. Amazing food and a great atmosphere in the hotel. The location is fantastic, the beach & playground are right in front of the hotel. We will definitely be back soon.
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our three night stay at the hotel at the end of November last year. We loved the cosy yet chic feel of the place and the view from our room was beautiful. We made use of the spa facilities and enjoyed rounding off our day by having a couple of drinks in the characterful Cave Bar. Breakfast both days was delicious and the staff were always approachable and friendly during our stay. We didn't want to leave!
Fantastic Hotel, Great rooms, gorgeous food and spotless, spacious rooms. Sea views are breath-taking! The staff as always go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. You will not regret your stay.
This is a gem of a Hotel,it’s our favourite family and extended family hotel,The food is delicious, the staff are so friendly and helpful. There is a beautiful big room known as the Library where you can sit and chill with a book during the day or after dinner at night,There are two Restaurants the Samphire and Lighthouse, it’s advisable to book in advance as they can be very busy,The beach is across the road lovely to walk on. Can’t wait to book my next stay
We were guests at a wedding. Everything was perfect from start to finish including the beach front location. Friendly, well trained, competent staff. Delicious food. Beautiful decor & interiors especially the Library with the comfiest sofas & the biggest , twinkliest Christmas tree. Well done , Garryvoe - wishing you continued success.
Food was excellent in both of the dining areas and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room were really clean and comfortable. Can't think of 1 bad thing to say about my entire stay. Overall a great experience
Stayed at the hotel for two nights - with my daughter and parents. We had rooms overlooking the beach - worth paying the extra money for a sea view - wow, would never get bored of looking at that view. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating - especially the reception team . Breakfast was lovely and the staff were happy to remove items and swap out for my fussy teenage. The hotel pool is lovely - my daughter was doing laps in the 25m lanes, while my father and I took a more relaxed leisurely approach in the main pool. The library area is stunning, perfect for curling up with a good book and a pot of team looking out over the sea. Would definitely go back - fabulous break. The whole family enjoyed their stay
