We recently spent 4 glorious days at this delight B&B. The hosts Monica & her Mother Norma were an absolutely terrific, couldn’t do enough for us, including driving us one night to The Anchor Inn for our dinner, then when the restaurant called they then brought us back. We had a superb tastefully decorated large bedroom overlooking the estuary plus a nice modern bathroom with walk-in shower, the best comfy beds Breakfast in the dining room overlooking the estuary & yachts was great, superb cooked selection on the Breakfast Menu plus fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals & juices The little village of Crosshaven is interesting with a couple of Pubs & restaurants, we found it very easy to drive to different points of interests within the area including Kinsale, Cobh, The old Head of Kinsale Highly recommend the Whispering Pines, & even though it’s a long way from Australia, should we make another trip to Ireland we would stay a week next time, relax & recharge the batteries Thanks Monica & Norma for being such wonderful hosts.

I booked 5 rooms here for some colleagues who were in Cork on business. The booking was a little complicated but Monica was so lovely and helpful on the phone and did her best to accommodate us. These guys stayed at two other hotels on this trip and by all accounts Whispering Pines came out tops. The reports that I got back from them were all great. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, rooms were spotless, breakfast fantastic. Its always difficult when trying to book accommodation for other people and I use trip adviser a lot when I am looking for places. I would highly recommend Whispering Pines based on the experience of my colleagues. And I am now looking forward to visiting myself sometime.

Beautiful stay at the whispering pines accommodation. Super comfy bed, modern and spacious bathroom, top quality breakfast and super friendly staff and owners, esoecially Monica who couldn't do enough for us. Crosshaven village is a lovely village, the ideal place if you want to disappear and recharge for a few dags and only a 30 minute bus drive into cork city with buses going every 30 minutes. A nice break away for our anniversary.

Excellent facilities, nice view of estuary, very good breakfast, Monica and Norma are very friendly hosts. We stayed for two nights; bed was comfortable and the room was very quiet. If in Crosshaven, we would recommend this B&B wholeheartedly.

Fantastic small family-owned hotel (B&B off season). The owners Monica and Damian, and Monica's mother Norma give you the nice feeling of coming home. Beautiful panorama on the tidal river. Excellent food, recently renewed rooms, and, last but not least, a very warm welcome. We'll be back !!!

This hotel is ideally suited to boat anglers visiting Ireland. Well placed for transfers from Cork airport which the hotel arranges with thier own mini-coach. The hotel has three of its own boats, all Aqua Star 42ft island wheelhouse vessels. The hotel is not luxurious but is clean comfortable has a good bar and restaurant and is well used to coping with both groups and individual anglers. Our 12 strong group spent six days there in September 2002 and 16 are booked to do the same in 2003 .
