I have just returned home after spending 2 night's DBB to celebrate my mothers birthday. We had a great experience. The staff were all so professional, courteous and helpful. We did have a little 'blip' on our first night, as we had to wait for our dinner reservation, but we were offered drinks of our choice as a goodwill gesture. The hotel is in a good location if you want to explore either by car or public transport. All in all, we had a thoroughly enjoyable time and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. I will definitely be returning later in the year
An outstanding hotel, the ambiance, food and staff were superb. It will be my first choice always when visiting any part of Cork on business or pleasure. The staff in particular seemed very happy in their jobs and had a good sense of fun about them, that generally reflects good management on the owners part.
Good points first. Great walk close by and close to Cross haven which had several interesting thigs to explore. Very good staff, Good breakfast with reasonable choice. Coffee machine in room with 4 complimentary pods as well as a kettle for tea and instant coffee. very clean. Probably one of the best power showers I have experienced in any hotel. Free parking Not so good: no air con which led to a really hot room, so much so that it was difficult to get to sleep. Pool and gym was unavailable to visitors. A bit noisy but we really needed the window open due to the heat. 2 schools nearby and a church so noisy during the day as well. Car parking was free but not secure. no bath. All in all reasonably good except when hot air con would be needed.
The hotel is clean, tidy and very well decorated. Upon reaching reception, we were greeted by a very helpful receptionist, who gave us all the info we needed to enjoy our stay. The bedrooms were in fantastic condition and the beds were excellent too. On going for breakfast, the restaurant is superb with very helpful and efficient staff. The quality and amount of the breakfast provided was superb. The only slight negative was the parking for our motorcycles. There is a lot of work going on at the hotel at the moment and where we had to park out bikes was very close to the main road, but fortunately behind a high hedge. We came to unlock them the following morning, all was ok, so no dramas here. Would we stay here again, yes we would.
A huge thank you to the friendly team at Carrigaline Court Hotel for their warm welcome when they helped us find availability to stay following a cancelled Eurostar and detour home from Paris via Cork! The team on the reception and in the bistro (so sorry we didn’t get names!) we’re the welcoming, reassuring faces we needed to see after a long and stressful day, and couldn’t have done more to look after us all. Huge thank you once again for your hospitality and clean, comfortable and spacious rooms for our group to rest our heads.
Myself and my friend stayed here after a wedding in the city. It was really quick and easy to get to and so quiet. The hotel itself is just gorgeous ! The rooms were stylish, comfortable and absolutely SPOTLESS ! Our receptionist Joanne was incredibly friendly and helpful and the food, well, it was delicious. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a place to stay in Cork. Thanks to all the staff at Carrigaline Court Hotel for a wonderful stay !
Was very disappointed that the hotel refused to serve me dinner as it was 'residents only', even though my father was staying there (and hadn't been informed that they were only serving food to residents because of some repairs being made to the kitchen) and I had driven quite a long distance to meet him there. Very poor and inflexible customer experience.
Great location - very clean and modern rooms. Swimming pool and gym - although didn't use them. Good choice of food in restaurant. Buffet style breakfast with a few extras in menu. Very near Cork airport - would definitely recommend.
To celebrate a first communion we booked 5 rooms for overnight stay. The celebratio took place in a private room which was decorated lovely and had the space we needed with attentive staff on the small bar and the food served was delicious. Our rooms were very clean and seemed to be recently updated. The hotel was very busy so we waited quite a while to check in but again staff very obliging. The leisure centre was closed for refurbishment which we were advised of after we booked this was unfortunate as we normally stay in the Rochestown Park Hotel where the pool features large for the children. I felt a small reduction in the price would have been good will on the part of the hotel given that that service was unavailable but when my husband asked about this he was given short shift. Not really encouraging us to rebook, even a small gesture like some icecream fir the kids or complimentary dessert would have been much appreciated. Overall we had a great stay in the hotel ,staff and food really 👍…
I had coffee here this morning with a couple of friends and we were served by a very pleasant waitress….I think her name is Maja….she was so pleasant and welcoming to us, it was nice to be made so welcome….it was a great experience
