We spent a 2 night stay there but unfortunately our room (140) was very outdated with mismatched decor and stained carpet. The room was also very stuffy and we had a job trying to open the window. I would suggest you ask for modern styled room when booking. Disappointed with our room and rather overpriced for what we got but on the plus side the staff were very friendly.

Just home from a 2 night family (2adults/2 kids Age 6 & 10) stay at the Carrigaline Court Hotel. Had stayed here years ago and liked it but was really impressed this time round. Got a great last minute deal which included tickets to Fota Island. After I booked online, I got a phonecall the morning after to enquire if I would like to book in for dinner or the leisure centre as it might be hard to get a preferred time once we arrived. I was delighted with this as I would not have thought to book before we arrived. We arrived on Sat afternoon and after a swift check-in we got to our room which had a double and two singles. Room was really fabulous and it was ideal for the kids. The tipee in the corner was a lovely touch. Beds were top class in terms of comfort and was surprised to see the Nespresso machine as well as standard tea/coffee offering. Bathroom was spotless and shower was perfect. Although the rooms are not servied during the stay there was a pack of plenty of fresh towels etc available daily. We use the swimming pool twice and the only fault was that there was no shallow end. My kids have just learned ro swim so were nervous but still enjoyed the pool. The lady on recpetion in the leisure centre on Sunday morning gave me some great routes for a run. She was so friendly. We ate both nights in the bar and breakfast in The Bistro was lovely. The staff that stood out were Aisling, Caoimhe and Ella and but every staff member we met were highly professional and a credit to this hotel management team. The food was very nice and if I had to be critical I would say the pavlova dessert was disappointing as it was a small little meringue nest with a little cream and few berries. But on the whole food was top notch and plenty on offer for the kids. The hotel was very well prepared in terms of its Covid plan with plenty signage and hand sani stations. It was obvious the hotel put a lot of time into their managment of guests in these strange times. There was a lovely outdoor area to eat for general public to drop by for food. The location of this hotel is ideal. There is a lovely park about 500m from hotel door and my two kids loved the playground and skate park in the park as well as the lovely lake with ducks. The fabulous greenway from Carrigaline to Crosshaven is a gem and ideal if your a cycling family. There is lots of day trip options such as to Cobh (quick crossing on ferry from Passage West), which has the interesting Titanic Experince, or down to Kinsale, into Cork City or up to Blarney Castle. We will def be back to stay in this hotel and thank you to all who made our little holiday a great one.

Had the pleasure of staying a Saturday night here, last weekend. A warm welcome on arrival, a nice comfy room with all the amenities, tea coffee , iron etc . A small but decent bathroom with a large walk in shower with paul Costello toiletries. It had the comfiest hotel bed I've ever slept in. The food was very tasty but with inflated prices . €21 for a stake sandwich which although was tasty it was poor value especially since it came with skinny McDonalds type chips instead of the traditional chunky homecut style chips. €5 plus for a slice of apple crumble with frozen ice cream which was hard to dig into. Good value on the drink. This hotel is about 10 minutes or so from the cork ring road and an ideal spot to base yourself if you want to explore cork city by car, fota wildlife park etc . Overall, staff was friendly, accommodation was good quality, food good quality but the price let's it down , drink good value and and easy place to get to by car . I'd give it an 8 out of 10 and will definitely stay here again .
