I.m surprised to see these cabins are getting rather good reviews. Maybe I was just unlucky? My cabin had a really funky smell and I had to leave the front door open for more than an hour (in middle of winter) but the smell didn't go. The duvet and the bedsheets and pillow were old and uncomfortible. All in all...

This place encompasses many options for lodging from tent camping to RV camping to cabins. We stayed our last night in Iceland in the cozy bungalow that was small but adequate. It had 3 beds, a table for dining, a small kitchen with stove and refrigerator and a small bathroom. Everything we needed and it gave us a nice break...

This place is brilliant! We arrived after a long drive from the south. The man at reception was so friendly and helpful and made us smile. The campgound has gravelled areas for you to park your campervan. There is an indoor kitchen for campers to use, bathrooms, and even a bbq if you want to make a night of it....

This is a new hotel, and when we stayed, they were still in the process of finishing - but that didn't make a difference in the stay. We missed our reservation in Hella - and came here looking for a nights stay. Went to the big hotel in town first, which was booked and they sent us here. Beautiful, new...

We had a cosy one night stay in this lovely place. We had a very nice wooden chalet that was well equipped and roomy. The lady was lovely, friendly and helpful. Very nice breakfast. Highly recommended. Everywhere looked even more beautiful the next morning after a 20 cm snowfall.

Spent one night here and thought it to be well worth the money. The owners were quite friendly and chatty as we checked in and the location is just of the main road that goes through Selfoss. The cabins are very basic but well worth the 50 euros we paid. The area is not that illuminated so we had no...

We spent a night in one of these cabins and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Arriving in mid-winter we were offered the hot tub and appreciated the gesture but felt it was too cold. It would be perfect for a summer's evening however. Great proximity to the town and very friendly staff. I highly recommend this accommodation.

we had booked a room with shared but since they had room- they upgraded us to a cabin. The cabin was nice, warm- but the water pressure in the shower was barely there. Breakfast was very good, super fresh milk! really good location if you are planning going the thingvelire, gullfuss, geyser route.

We stayed at one of the cabins. Not pretentious and therefore very nice inviting and cosy. Small kitchen plus utensils. We loved it! Wished we could stay more nights! Reception was very friendly and welcoming. Very recommended!

We stayed in one of the cabins, which look small even before you realise that they're semi-detached, but they're amazingly compact, snug and warm, even as the snow falls outside. The shower was good and hot and the kitchen facilities adequate. The owners are friendly and helpful, and the town's an easy stroll away. Bear in mind, however, that the...
