Day 7 of 14. This is a very nice modern hotel with large comfortable rooms. The breakfast was very good. We ate at Salt in the evening, just down the road, which was also good. No complaints with the Herad at all, highly recommended.

Hotel rooms were nicely furnished, clean and spacious. The rooms had a great view of the mountains. There is nothing that stands out at this hotel as special it is just a good spot to stop for a night.

This hotel is on the other side of the island, around 700km from Keflavik. That is at least 9 hrs driving, but most would take a few days to see the sites on the way. Icelandair is a chain of hotels around the island an... More

Not sure about at the hotel but it is right in the middle of Eglisstadir which, although not a big town, likely has laundry nearby. I'd ask the hotel directly. All the staff speak English.
