We are staying in the Vogafjos cabins which are comfortable and clean and situated well to explore the Myvatn region. Vogafjos Cafe serve excellent food, great service. Interesting to watch cows being milked and shortly thereafter being presented with a sample of the fresh milk.

This guesthouse was one of the nicest ones we stayed at in Iceland, and we stayed in 7 different placed during our trip. The food at the restaurant is great, and the room was clean and cozy. We saw a little bit of Northern Lights and the landscape around the guesthouses was unreal. Parking was right in front of our...

you name it and we did it!!!!!! We stayed 2 nights in the guesthouse and it was perfect. Our room was cozy, warm and plenty of hot water. We had dinner the first night at the hotel and went to Daddi's Pizza the second night. Breakfast had plenty of goodies to pick from. Try the Gysir bread that is baked...

The cabin is located right by Road 1, makes it very easy to locate & nearby attractions are just a short drive away. The room was spacious and clean. A lovely place to wind down after a day of driving. The hotel has a cafe which seemed to be very popular, but we had our dinner at Daddi's Pizza next...

Our room was tiny. Seriously tiny - couldn't even open our suitcases. Kind of cute with the cabin look, but super thin walls. We could have talked through them to our neighbors. The breakfast buffet was fine. On the plus side, we saw the northern lights the night we stayed here - we drove down the road a bit to...

Strategically located to many interesting sites around Myvatn. Surroundings are quiet and perfect for Northern Lights sighting. The room is a bit small (difficult to move around with luggage) but the bed is huge, comfortable and clean. There's also a restaurant that offers fresh, homemade food.

PROS: We stayed just one night at the beginning of March, just after the large snowstorm hit Iceland, so the entire area was snow-covered (beautiful) and with few tourists taking the risk of driving on roads that had been, and which were also soon closed after we drove through the area (bonus points). This Guest house is perfectly located to...

There are strong similarities with all of the hotels we stayed in during the last two weeks. I will specify how this one was different. Most expensive restaurant. Weakest internet connection. Longest wait for warm - not hot - water in the shower. Weakest water pressure. Thinnest interior walls evidenced by simple talking in the next room.

My husband and I stayed in one of their cottages, for one night, in March. It was very spacious, had decent WiFi, a clean bathroom and a very comfy double bed. The place had very good heated floors, keeping the room very warm all night. The walls were a bit thin, so I could hear the neighbors, which turned out...

I'd easily give this hotel 10 Stars. Although I only stayed here one night, it is a night I will always remember and never forget! Stay here...you won't be disappointed!! The Northern Lights were the most awesome green. The sky is very dark here and viewing is even possible while in bed! Everything about this Guesthouse and Cafe is spectacular!...
