We drove around Greece and one of the highlights was staying at Epavlis Suites for a quiet break. The proximity to the monestries was a bonus and also close to all the local amenities. The owners couldn't do enough to help us. Thank you Sandy and Nick Perth Western Australia

Epalvis suites deserves 5 stars for service alone! I was emailed by this hotel that they were overbooked and that I would be relocated to another hotel nearby (with more stars by the way.) I was very disappointed but upon our arrival at Epalvis, my boyfriend and I were served Greek coffee and juice while we waited for the owner,...

Family owned & run by Mary & her husband, this "boutique hotel" is more like a B&B with lovely personalized touches. Upon arrival owners offered us to sit in the garden for wine tasting (he makes his own wine), fruit from their garden & nice conversation. Good sized room was quiet & ours had a view of the Metéora mountain...

This Hotel is a small cosy beautiful place. If you looking for a nice quiet stay with a wonderful family style owners, then this is a must in Meteora. It is farther up the town but It is still very walkable.

Almost at the base of St. Stephen’s Monastery, this wonderful little hotel was probably our best room in Greece (and that’s saying a lot). It’s about a 10-minute walk from downtown, comparatively easy to find and with plenty of parking. It’s well priced with a good breakfast (coffee/juice/fresh bread and rolls/deli meats/yogurt) and your hosts are gracious and welcoming. The...

I recently stayed here while seeing the Meteora Monasteries with my husband and both of our parents. We could not have had a lovelier stay. Spiros and his wife were so accommodating, greeting us with preserved quince and saying goodbye with cold ouzo. The breakfast they prepared for us each day was hearty and tasty. The hotel itself has a...

Prior to our trip I did a lot of research into where to stay for the best Meteora experience - kalambaka or Kastraki. I found Epavlis suites to be the perfect spot. As it is located on the edge of Kalambaka it is the best of both worlds. It is situated right under one of the main Meteora rocks and...

Had a lovely night in Epavlis, small hotel perched up the hill, maybe 5 minutes walk away from town. Room are big and clean, we had a standard room. Room toasty warm in the morning, great bathroom, power shower and loads of hot water. Breakfast a grand affair with with a fabulous open fire, huge spread of home made food....

We were a family with children, staying 1 night for visiting Meteora. The owners were extremely nice and helpful, gave good pointers for restaurants and some other tips. The breakfast was superb. The road is a bit rough, but it happens a lot allover Greece. Also, the price was on the expensive side. But I warmly recommend it overall.
