A Grand old building that has 70's style renovations (popcorn ceilings?). My toilet didnt work, had to wait for desk clerk to fix before I could properly check in. The TV seemed tiny. The bartender/waiter was very friendly & helpful, but was the only pleasant part of my stay. The bed was not very comfortable and the headboard was broke...

This review is for the hotel only, we did not eat in the dining room. We chose this hotel because it's pet friendly otherwise we would have stayed at the New Orleans. Its in a good location, the room was comfortable, kitchenette was nice that's about all it has going for it. The decor is dated, the bedding needs to...

This place has period décor from early 1900's and the service is very good. The piano player adds a feeling you are stepping back in time. Thursday's are for locals but all are welcome. If you are not a local, just step in and play the part. you will enjoy.

We stumbled on the hotel. We hadThe pleasure having Mark as our waiter. He was wonderful. Sunday night Is prime rib night. It is amazing. Everything about dinner was perfect. Staff. Food. Appearance of the hotel and restaurant. Great spot!! Ask for Mark and have a martini! Cheers!

This place is very cool. It it dated but it is also period appropriate so that is definitely not a con. It has a restaurant and small bar downstairs. The staff was nice and helpful and the room was very clean. I would recommend this place to anyone. The only true con, parking is limited.

As far as I am concerned...this is the best location to stay. The restaurant is amazing and romantic. Piano player in the evenings in the lobby. If you want faster more lively action...Eurika Live is right next door. The BEST dance club in town. Always a blast!

This is about the only place we stay when we are in Eureka. Great location and the owners and staff are nice and friendly. Great ambiance. If you pack a lot, try to stay on the second floor as they do not have an elevator. It is a quaint hotel with limited rooms.

We were pleasantly surprised when we were shown our room for a two night stay. Lovely antique decor and very roomy suite included a small kitchenette. Wonderful restaurant located on ground level where we had a delicious dinner. Located on side street, but close to "downtown" shops and businesses. Only drawback--there is no elevator in this historic building. Rooms are...

I loved it. It reminded me of my Great Grandma's apt as a kid, staying with her. Beautiful antique furniture, with Roses on the wall paper, a jacuzzi tub big enough for two, and all the amenities of a modern kitchen. Step back in time, and enjoy the memories. Bed was very comfortable, and the linens, were a treat. We...

Go back in time and see what it was like to be a wealthy northerner vacationing in an upscale hotel over a hundred years ago. It was quite an experience. The hotel is the same outside and looks old but don't let that fool you. The inside is extremely well maintained. Dusty checked us in and even carried one of...
