Our room in the almost 500 year old chateau was charming and very comfortable. Veronique and her staff were very helpful especially with restaurant suggestions and reservations. The grounds and gardens were spectacular.

The hotel is only 7 rooms and is almost 500 years old. The setting is so beautiful, it is difficut to decribe. I was lucky enough to stay there for nearly a week in April. Veronique (owner / host) was absolutely the best. Her French breakfasts were the best breakfasts I have had. Even though I back in the states....I...

I LOVE THIS HOTEL! it takes you back in history, has fantastic hosts and authentic French breakfast bakery items. I had a cottage on the property where the shower was fantastic, the bed comfortable and the quiet drugged me to sleep. I would love to come again and again. Thanks for everything. Kim Harris

Good spot for exploring eastern Loire. Convenient, comfortable, interesting location. Follow directions or you'll never find it! Various rooms all sympathetically converted in original buildings. Narrow entrance & tricky parking - beware if you have a large car, but hospitable, helpful hostess and civilized full breakfast. Decent cotton sheets & good showers.

We stayed here in April and it far exceeded our expectations. The chateau and the grounds were beautiful, well maintained, and so rich in history. Veronique, our host, was lovely, and made us feel special and completely at home. She helped us take full advantage of the magical Loire valley. The breakfasts provided to her guests were delicious and generous....

We loved our first experience in a B&B, it was so French. We had just stayed in a very impersonal, expensive hotel in Paris and this was a breath of fresh air. We were warmly greeted by Veronique, the owner and given a choice of rooms as it was low season, we chose a room was upstairs with a lovely...

Chateau Nazelles is a MUST if visiting the Amboise area. Not only is it conveniently located near the town of Amboise, (several miles) but also near several chateaux and many wineries. The location is ideal, but the chateau is a destination in itself. The grounds are immaculately groomed and have so much to offer the guests. There are beautiful gardens,...

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in early November. It was geographically excellent as headquarters to visit the most famous Loire chateaux because it was in the middle between Bloise (40km) and Tours (25km). Not to mention 5km from Amboise which is a very nice place including the Chateau d'Amboise where you will find the tomb of Leonardo...

Highly romantic setting with lovely courtyard, views etc. Good breakfast in a nice roon with views and a working fireplace. Very nice and accomodating hosts. Room was classy and comfortable (but not luxurious) with nice views of valley. Bathroon soon in need of 'refresh' but fine. Good experience!

Veronique and Olivier Fructus are a quintessential, aristocratic and classy French couple who run this beautiful chateau. Everything is first-class. Our cottage was enchanting and modern with plenty of privacy and comfort. The breakfasts were superb. Anytime I needed help, Veronique was accessible and knowledgeable about the surrounding attractions which were scattered throughout the Loire Valley. We spent three fantastic...
