If it’s right out in the country you want you have it here, yet just a short drive from Porvoo. Very friendly and helpful man running it, and large homely feeling room with large bathroom and good shower and very comfortable bed. Literally staying in converted farm buildings, with donkeys, chickens and horses around. Free WiFi in room but for any other facilities you have to go to Porvoo. There is a lake here though where can swim or take out a rowing boat.

Nice B&B on farm grounds, about 15 minutes by car from Porvoo Old Town. Simple accommodation, very clean and comfortable. Four rooms with private bathrooms. Guests also have free use of sauna. Breakfast is included in the rate and is served in the main house. We saw horses and donkeys, they all look well looked after. The owners are kind and hospitable. All in all, good value for money.

We had a large group, so finding a place to sleep us all was a challenge, but this place did it with ease, and even gave us a very hearty breakfast that was more than ample to feed the 11 of us. The hosts were great, and more than happy to chat and share the history of the farm. An excellent place to stay not far from Porvoo.

Tukkilan tila is a wonderful B&B near town Porvoo. You can choose your accommodation in an old cottage (aitta) or in one of the buildings. We stayed July 2012 in the old cottage and were not at all disappointed. You can use the showers and toilets in the nearby building and there is a gas grill just waiting for your use free of charge. All the rooms in both buildings and in cottage are spotlessly clean and cost only 30-35 euros per person, linen included. The cottages don't have a kitchen nor a fridge. As the previous commenter said, Tukkila is run by a couple. The lady has a job outside Tukkila as she told us, but her huspand spends his days feeding and taking care of the animals. There are sheep, chicken, llamas, donkeys and cats. I did not find the owners at all distant, the gentleman owner chatted with us for some time while making us breakfast. Breakfast was lovely with fresh coffee or tee, porridge, bread, cereals and more. There is a possibility to swim or row if you are interested or just sit and enjoy the silence of nature and nightless nights. We had a deck of cards and did not need any tv or computers. I truely recommend Tukkilan tila to everyone and will myself return this summer too.…

They offer accommodation in a cottage or rooms at one of the main buildings. We stayed at the cottage, and it was very comfortable! Everything was very clean, and the cottage had all the amenities that we needed: indoor toilet, shower, kitchen, tv, living room and bedroom. The kitchen was very well equipped; a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, water kettle. Yard and surroundings were very lovely with different animals as horses, sheep, donkeys and llamas. Possibility for sauna rental by the river. The only problem was the service or the lack of it. Couple that runs the place was rather rude and stayed distant even when we were keen to ask about the place and its history. In normal hotel surroundings this is quite common and almost understandable behaviour from staff. But in these circumstances when there were only handful of guests this was very disappointing. Here guests seek more experience than accommodation but the place did not live up to the expectations.…
