Very lovely hosts who always take care of you and make sure the guests are enjoying their stay. Cozy, calm , clean and familiar accommodation with own relaxing garden. Breakfast is great and has many different flavors for all people. Garden is very suitable for having late breakfast there too. Me and my friend have been enjoying our stay now for couple of times here already. And it is sure where we are coming next time. I really recommend this place. For solos, couples and families - You’re warmly welcome!
Although the rainy weather it was nice to be in Hanko again and play bridge. The Villa Garbo was a very nice place situated in a house. This was the second time there. The breakfast was enough and good.
I stayed over the night for two nights. I got no room, but an apartment with one room an kitchen. The place was OK. It is just very warm and you do not have any ventilation in the apartment. Although the windows were open it was warm in the night oaver 20 degree Celsius.
B&B Villa Garbossa on siistiä, rauhallinen ympäristö, viihtyisä piha ja loistava aamupala. Palvelua pn ystävällistä ja sujuvaa monella kielellä. In this cosy and quiet B&B you get good service and excellent breakfast. SEvice is friendly and multilingual!
Villa Garbossa välitetään aidosti majoittujien viihtyvyydestä. Omistajapariskunta on todella ystävällinen ja huomaavainen. Lämmin suositus! They really care about people who stay with them. Had such a lovely stay. Would go back anytime!
Villa Garbo is a very cute family run place. The rooms very unique in their decoration which we liked very much. It was a very nice surprise to find such a little treasure. The breakfast was great, one of the best I've ever had in a B&B. It was prepared with love and you had a lot of different things to chose from. They considered special wishes and even offered us sugar free muesli and jam. The owners are very welcoming people who gave us many advices for activities to do in the area and places to see. This place was a highlight on our tour through south Finland. If we are in the area again we would definitely come back to stay at Villa Garbo.
We had a great weekend at Villa Garbo. Everything was clean, cute and romantic, breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed it in Villa's lovely garden. Staff was super friendly and helpful, they totally pampered us. Big thank you to you, i totally recommend this place, 5/5!
Exceptionally good as B&B. Me and my husband spent a lovely weekend in Hanko and we really enjoyed Villa Garbo’s hospitability. They have one room for those travelling with a dog. Our labradoodle and us enjoyed the quiet environment, lovely green garden, good night sleep in cozy beds. In the morning we had a tasty breakfast which we enjoyed in the garden. The location is great if you prefer a little more quite place from all the hassle (specially if you arrive during regatta or other popular summer event) but the location is still within a walking distance. Thank you Leila & staff , definitely come back some day!
This was not a retro villa, but formerly a ruin. You smelled the damp and there was no fresh air. Everything was old, certainly not retro. It was too hot to sleep with closed windows, so we had all the noise from the cars and trucks. I'm used to travel basic, but this was totally over-rated. If the price was less, I shouldn't have the feeling to be mislead. Pictures on the website are not like in real....same as the price. My children were so excited to stay in 'a villa', but garbo doesn't deserve this denomintation. They were so disappointed. And yes of course we could have say it straightaway, but what then? Should they have reduce the price? I don't think so. Luckily we had a wonderful stay In Hanko, but not in Garbo.
We stayed for one night on the first floor during a quick trip to Hanko. The place was rather old and worn out, but nevertheless pretty cozy. The staff was friendly and the locations was good. We didn't mind the old furniture and general shabbiness, but since the house is pretty old, there was virtually no soundproofing. You can clearly hear other guests moving in the hallway of the first floor, and you had to whisper if you didn't want to bother other guests in their rooms. If you're a light sleeper, you may need to bring earplugs. If you want to take a tour of Hanko, I highly suggest renting a bike. There are bikes for rent at Villa Garbo, which is a plus. The breakfast was very simple, just like the ones you probably make at home. Porridge, toast, boiled eggs, yogurt and so on. All in all, our experience was not bad, but the prices are simply too high for this sort of accommodation.…
