This is a great place to stay in Kathmandu for either short or longer stays; you can negotiate good rates for longer stays. The area is relatively quiet and clean, plenty of low-cost local food options nearby as well as flasher restaurants. The rooms are very comfortable, competitively priced and MUCH better value for money than places around Thamel and...

When we went back from Lumbini, we were planning going back the other guesthouse in the same area we had stayed a couple of weeks back (which was also surprisingly good), but I found pics of this place inspiring so we just dropped in. But my colleague got a room with toilet so called attached and no AC however, we paid the same room rent....

I used to live in Lalitpur and so when returning for a conference I wanted to stay in the area again. Black Pepper Guesthouse was the perfect place to stay; very helpful, friendly and knowledgable staff but not over bearing. Down a guarded lane, it was in a safe and quiet location. I stayed in a normal room with no...

My second time in Kathmandu I was looking for a place that would be a good respite from the chaos of daily living, somewhere comfortable and clean and safe. I found it here at Black Pepper. The service was wonderful and there were staff on site 24/7. There was a guard and two gates prior to entering the hotel and...
