The hostel rooms and terrace offers a beautiful view on the himalayan range, breakfast is decent, staff is friendly, overall excellent option when you are on a budget. There seems to be other fancier option in Nagargot if you are willing to pay more but this one serves the purpose just fine.

My experience in the hotel was amazing. The views are the best and the staff in hotel are very nice. I stayed at dorm room for very reasonable price. Getting up early for the sunrise at this place is definitelly worth it. Drinking morning masala and observing the wide range of Himalayas, one of the best feelings ever.

My partner and I were advised to go to Unkai Resort because of the budget price. Thankfully we took a great decision! The Resort was very affordable for our backpacker budget. The manager of the Hostel is a great person, he is even managing by himself to start and NGO in order to get funds for the people affected by...

I stayed at Unkai Resort in February 2016. On arriving found the beautiful building located on a hill. A very good quiet location and even from the room on the lower ground floor you can see the mountains. You can go to the various balconies to snap beautiful pictures of the scenery. I was told the name 'Unkai' means A...

We were there last August. I though it was a really good resort but it was just a basic hotel. The room wasn't clean, it was stinky and not comfortable. But the view was gorgeous but unfortunately outside was mostly broken furniture. The food was good. If the rooms are upgraded and refreshed a bit then this would be a...

I visited with a couple of friends in September to hopefully see the Himalayas at sunrise. The guest house is situated on the hillside with a spectacular view, besides its pretty secluded. Not a lot of guests there, which turned out great for us because we could enjoy the sunrise in peace. Owner is very nice. We got a decent...

It is farest from bus station. But best view is guaranteed. Price is varying by level, very reasonable. But 2nd floor is best place to enjoy with large balcony. Owner is very generous man too.

A basic but comfortable hotel with fantastic views from a large terrace right outside the room. Not one of the trendy backpacker places but the location more than makes up for it. A large clean room with windows on two sides looking out at the mountains. The owner and staff made me very welcome too - lit a big fire...

My friend and I spent a night here after a dayhike from Banepa. Tough walk and the completely relaxed atmosphere we found here was like a warm bath. Probably the best possible guesthouse in Nagarkot in terms of price/quality: very friendly staff, delicious Dalbaht and a nice fire to enjoy. But the best part of all: the guesthouse itself is...

“To the right of the main building, slightly down the hill, there are a few cabins: very basic but very cheap as well. Even the single rooms have a bed for two, so sharing is a good way to cut the price.”
