We stayed there two nights. beautiful room, fresh and spotlessly clean. Our son, as well as extended family stayed there on the 24th Aug. He was married to a Ballyhaunis woman on 25th and with a wonderful breakfast, Nuala gave a bottle of bubbly to him / us with our breakfast. A really nice and thoughtful gesture. Just on the outskirts of the town, easily walking distance (2-3 minutes), from pubs, church, hairdressers etc
From the moment we arrived (1 adult and 2 children) Nuala was so helpful We had a family room which was really spacious Lovely and cosy Breakfast was delicious Would definitely return Nice town also ..
We stayed here during a cycling trip in June. The B&B was spotless, Nuala gave secure parking for our bikes and allowed use of the washing facilities. Bedrooms were great, clean and spacious and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was hearty and more than we could eat to set us up for the day. If ever go back i will be going straight here.
If you read the other reviews you'll understand why all reviews for Mulberry Lodge are positive. We booked 4 rooms, very last minute as it was for a funeral and Nuala was very obliging in accommodating us. The B&B itself is a short walk from town and is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The self-contained extra kitchen upstairs is a bonus for those who want to make tea/coffee at their own whim. Bedrooms were roomy & beds were very comfortable as was the guest lounge. Very tasty breakfast too ! Thank you Nuala for making us so welcome. Will definetly stay again !
I’m so pleased we booked it. Five of us stayed in April for a short family visit. Mulberry lodge was great, very clean and kept very tidy. The breakfast was cooked to order, superb quality. A range for all tasted and appetites with lots of tea and coffee, fruit and toast. The rooms were spacious with en suite bathrooms and TV. The guest lounge and kitchen were also useful. The room rate was really good value. I would not hesitate to return or recommend Mulberry lodge to others. A shining example of a well thought out and well run guest house in a lovely part of the world.
Modern, clean and comfortable. Nuala the hostess is extremely friendly and welcoming. Great value for money. Would highly recommend. Stayed for one night but would definitely come back again. Ballyhaunis is a lovely little village.
A modern building with easy parking . The mulberry is run by a local Ballyhaunis family who know the town and the area very well. I think they also run one of the local pubs. Nuala was the perfect host , the building is so quiet (solid construction)
I needed to book 5 rooms at short notice for a family funeral - my party was mixed in age with the eldest person being 87yrs. Our every need was met with cheerful kindness as well as an understanding of the reason for our visit. The en-suite rooms were ideal and the breakfast choices were delicious and plentiful.
We stayed here in December 2017 and it is a fantastic B&B Nuala is wonderful nothing is to much trouble. The town is less than a 2 minute walk away. Will definitely be staying here again. Avril & Darren
Would really recommend this B&B. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable and overall the house is welcoming. The breakfast was so good and has nice options. The guest kitchen with ironing facility was also very helpful.
