Had originally planned to stay in Flagstaff, AZ for our Grand Canyon trip, but did more research and found The Lodge on Route 66. Awesome location, you can walk around the town, many places to eat, grab a cold drink, or just browse the shops. Train station is right across the street, everything is within walking distance. The rooms were...

We stayed at The Lodge On Route 66 for two nights when visiting the Grand Canyon. We were driving from Vegas but didn't want to stay in Grand Canyon National Park so Williams seemed like the perfect location. Firstly, I would say that this is definitely the nicest place to stay in Williams. We walked past a few other places...

I don't know what the sourpuss from Norway or the fuss budget from Houston (reviews from July 1 and 2, 2013) are complaining about; this place is a great find! I chose to make a reservation here after seeing reviews on Trip Advisor and also thanks to the motel's own website. I liked the photos, and am happy to report...

This motel style lodge is perfect as a stop over place between Vegas and the Grand Canyon. I found it by going on Trip Advisor and we weren't disappointed. Williams is such a traditional cute town with a lovely high street and a few western bars. In the evening at the end of the road they have wild west shoot...

This motel is a "throwback" to the hey day of Route 66 motels, but it's definitely been updated. The "queen" room was small, but the bed was very comfortable and the location was perfect; within walking distance of all the Route 66 restaurants, shops, and the zipline. We really enjoyed sipping our morning coffee on the front porch of the...

We stayed here about 6 years ago when in the same area and decided to stay again. We enjoyed the ability to park our bike right up next to our room and the rooms are well decorated and comfy. The bed was very comfortable and the we both got a very good night sleep. The staff was really friendly and...

I have trusted Tripadvisor in the past, to help me find good hotel choices, and so we did for this hotel in Williams, Arizona last month. We had requested a baby crib for our 18 month old baby, and I should have "smelled it", when they delivered us the "do it yourself"-crib from the lobby upon check in. There was...

The staff and accommodations, room 6, are equally nice. But really... a 50's style motor court in which you are dishing out WELL over 100. I know, it's a tourist trap - generated by the Grand Canyon traffic, it's summer and the city is small. We plan to avoid Williams in the future, but if you must stay and $$...

My family of 4 stayed here four nights recently and loved it! We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the motel. We started in a king suite for 2 nights before being moved to an executive suite due to plumbing issues. The rooms were comfy and clean. The front desk ladies (we met three over our stay) were all...

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of our Route 66 trip, We were pleasantly surprised with this place, nice comfy (but quite high) bed, bathroom clean, it was nice to have benches outside each room so we could sit outside our room and relax, breakfast was adequate, although I would have liked cereal. Like Holbrook you are close to...
