Anytime you plan to take a trip, whether it is for a week or an overnight, planning is an important detail. Yet, no matter how much planning you do, sometimes little side trips work out better. Recently my boyfriend and I took an overnight from our home in Phoenix up to Williams, Az. The plan was to go to Seligman...

This is a really lovely campground, well-managed with tons of lovely sites. We're tent campers and were lucky enough to get a prime spot in the tent-only area. It would have been perfect save for our immediate neighbor who played music all day and right up until noise curfew at 10pm. The woods are super quiet; every sound carries and...

Very nice and quiet campground in a forest of pine trees. Add a little warm to it and the ambiance is great! In our RV trip we by chance got to stay at some USFS campground that are usually further away from roads and in more natural sites. So when we got to Williams we went to check this one...

I was lucky enough to get a site on the opening week of the campground. The temperatures during the day were warm but the nights were cold, it was still early in the season, the facilities were basic, but very clean and maintained. There are only vault toilets to use but well maintained and clean. The water level of the...

We stayed in the tent only camping area. There are 5 spots and we had space number 5. I thought it was the best because it was at the end of the road and there was just forest behind us. The bathroom was extremely clean and close enough to walk to but far enough to not be an issue. The...

We chose this location to camp between all of our sightseeing. This location is beautiful. The Campground host and hostess are very nice (and do sell firewood Ice and ice cream bars 👍) I would have to say these are the most spread out sites of any we have been to for starters which is awesome. We had a back...

Our site (#48) unfortunately lacked shade, and the lake lacked water (it was more of a puddle really) but the restrooms were some of cleanest we'd ever seen and park hosts were friendly and helpful. Roads and trailer spots are easy to park and navigate.

Stopped on our way home from the Grand Canyon and what a wonderful place to camp. Set in the tall pines with blacktop roads, well spaced level blacktop pads, clean restrooms, picnic tables, grills and a small lake. While the lake is down from lack of snow this year the wind through the pines and the smell of the pines...

We camped hear for three days in our 40 foot MH. Had a great site in Loop A (wish I remembered the number) close to the lake, with parking on a level and recently paved parking area with heavy cement tables and a nice above ground grill. Were taking our grandkids on their first ever camping trip next month and...

We made a last minute trip to the Grand Canyon while traveling home on I-40 so didn't have lodging plans. We figured the park campgrounds would be full and they were, but this was a great find. The sites are fairly well spread out. The vault toilets look pretty clean, although there was some odor nearby. When looking for a...
