The check in went well, the girl did what she had to do but there was no "feeling", we just felt like another thing she had to deal with. There was no smile, no welcome. The room was simple but very clean. The beds are comfy. The bathroom was also very clean and a good size. We did not use...

We were very confused where to park and where the lobby was, had to carry our luggage a distance. It was not a welcoming experience, the layout of the hotel is confusing and staff not helpful. However, the buffet and train ride were wonderful!

Cute hotel. Very clean and friendly. Works well to stay over then take the train in the morning. Only negative was that the pool was under construction which we had no idea about until we walked down there in our suits.

Pros: The rooms were nice and clean. Good temperature control on the window unit. We were able to remain very comfortable despite the fact that it was below freezing outside. Cons: The front desk employees were not very friendly or helpful. We had to ask how to get to our room. That might not be a big deal at other...

We had the package that included the train to the canyon, lunch, bus tour of the south rim, and the train ride back. The room was very nice and the lobby is fantastic. The only issue is if you have mobility issues, the regular room doesn't have safety bars in the shower. Quite slippery. Otherwise, fantastic!

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel with very comfortable beds. They did a gorgeous job with the recent renovation, and the views from different areas were beautiful from the overnight snow we got! Will definitely be returning to this lovely hotel next time we are in the area. This is a very environmentally friendly hotel with their water and plastic...

Two colleagues and I stayed at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel with a larger group which also took the day trip to the Grand Canyon on the Grand Canyon Railroad. The hotel is currently being renovated, but we were placed in already renovated rooms. The rooms are spacious, and extremely clean. The bathrooms are large and offer a lot of...

Great hotel, convenient to the railway and downtown Williams (several nice local restaurants a short walk from the hotel.) Hotel was under renovation but I never heard any construction noise. The room I had was a "standard" room but seemed brand new. Was very nice, modern, and clean. Waking up and walking out the door of the hotel and into...

Hotel was reasonably priced. We stayed in a recently renovated room, which was clean. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Hotel restaurant was convenient for good value buffet breakfast. Did not enjoy having to walk through construction areas on the main level to get to our room, but it makes sense that they are completing renovations in the off-season. The...

We are staying here for three nights. Everything the positive reports say is true. The lodge lobby with high ceilings and fire place. I am attaching room pictures . They are remodeling everything form bathrooms to carpets to the pool. We are taking the train to the canyon tomorrow. We walked downtown and had a great breakfast for supper at...
