This staff is sheer excellence!!! The rooms are wonderful. The decor is beautiful. My husband and I were in the resort business for many years. The Grand Hotel is an impressive property and the owners should be very proud of their staff. Although the hotel is marvelous, it's the staff the puts this property over the top!!!

I enjoyed my four-night stay while visiting Grand Canyon (could not get into El Tovar). Modern property, nice beds, good bathroom with a real (soaking) bathtub, in-room coffee, microwave, refrigerator, safe, free parking, indoor pool and jacuzzi. Lighted make-up mirror, free in-room Internet; very convenient to the Grand Canyon Village inside the park. There were some misses in maintaining the...

Impressive entrance, It was more than I anticipated. I would recommend it to my friends and family. It was very clean, the coffee machine very helpful and the cups and extra glasses too. When leaving i was surprise by the free coffee at the lobby. Staff very friendly.

The grand hotel is a great place to stay. It is very close (about a 6 minute drive) from the Grand Canyon. The lobby is beautiful with comfortable seating in front of a large, roaring fireplace. The rooms are updated, clean and very comfortable. I liked the little extras they had on top of shampoo/conditioner/soap that most hotels don't have...

We were very happy we stayed here instead of El Tovar. The location was excellent. Rooms were clean and modern. We enjoyed the restaurant (not exceptional good but served its purpose). It was a nice option after hiking all day, and the hotel staff were great.

Located near the Grand Canyon this is a good location to visit the area from. Nice lobby and sitting area on the first floor. Nice decor. Our room was on the second floor, across the elevator and next to the utility room for housekeeping. The window in the room overlooked the back area with the outside airco units. All this...

We had a great stay at this hotel. Regrettably we could not get interconnecting rooms but rooms were clean and great size for the price. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant on site was a definite no-no! We hated the food!

The pictures are not deceiving. Beautiful hotel with clean, neat and tidy rooms. Great attention to detail from the décor to amenities. 5 mins drive to the Grand Canyon National Park which means you can catch the sunsets and the sunrise.
