This is a lovely small and very personal hotel located on the shores of Lake Atitlan. The gardens and sitting areas are wonderful, the food is good and the staff is terrific. It is accessible only by boat so all visitors and supplies to this village come by water or by way of a long hike from San Marcos. For...

Lake Atitlan has a spectacular setting some 5000 feet above sea level in the highlands of Guatemala, one of the world's top tourist destinations, and Santa Cruz is in our opinion the most charming village situated on this lake. Casa Rosa is delightful: clean simple rooms set in the most charming and romantic tropical garden. It's so relaxing to sit...

If you are lucky enough to have visited Casa Rosa then you are lucky enough. Truly a gem of a location and a place that has so much to offer. A beautiful area to relax right by the water with a beautiful garden leading up to the hotel and dining area. The meals are a delight made from local fresh...

La casa Rosa, this was for me the best part of my trip through Guatemala. Situated on the edge of Lago Atitlan, La Casa Rosa is the most beautiful place to stay whilst in Santa Cruz. It is a great place for couples or if you are looking to just relax. The grounds are well manicured and there are cobble...

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our time at La Casa Rosa. The staff were very friendly and the food, while a bit pricey, was great. The view from the hotel restaurant was fantastic. It was a very romantic setting. The room itself was decent. Be sure to use the bug net that covers the bed! There were quite a...

La Casa Rosa is a rustic hotel that has a great location right on the shore of Lake Atitlan near the boat dock in Santa Cruz. The view of the lake and volcanoes cannot really be beat in this area. Overall, my friends and I enjoyed our recent stay here for two nights but there were a few things that...

My partner and I loved, loved, loved our time at La Casa Rosa. After one rough, buggy, and unhappy night at IslaVerde (down the lake a short walk), we wondered into La Case Rosa as weary, shipwrecked travelers looking for a clean, safe place to drop anchor. And boy did we find it! First off, as traveling love partners, La...

When we arrived at Casa Rosa the owner told us that our booked villa was not available due to a mistake booking.com did. As a solution she gave us a single room where she added another bed and doubled the price. Even though we were happy having a place to stay for the night Casa Rosa was very disappointing. The...

After staying at numerous hotels in San Peadro, which I did not find to be very beautiful or relaxing, I took the boat to Santa Cruz and stumbled accross La Casa Rosa and struck gold! This place is truely stunning, with amazing tropical gardens which I spent my days relaxing in. This is a place of tranquility, for finding peace....
