We were fortunate to stay at Las Caletas for four nights last week. We found the perfect place to stay. Jolanda was so helpful in making arrangements and making sure we were picked up at the small airport in Drake Bay. The trip getting there is an adventure itself, we flew into SJO airport and walked two blocks to Sansa...

I went to Las Caletas with my brother and meet friends there for my birthday. We were all so delighted with the location, basically your own beach, the food was outstanding and the people we met were so interesting and friendly from all over Europe and North America. The owners David and Yolanda took care of all of your needs,...

We spent the first part of our time in Drake Bay in a simple pension in town. That was great, easy walk to restaurant, store. Then we took a boat over to Las Caletas. Beautiful spot, fairly isolated. Had a tent for the first night, then moved to Iguana room attached to the restaurant. Both places were nice, tent did...

Yolanda organizes your whole stay, including tours. The food is awesome! The cabin was nice, just a little warm to sleep comfortably. David takes very good care of his guests. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Fantastic setting overlooking Bahia Drake, friendly staff and great food. Incredible gardens full of a wide variety of birds and the occasional capuchin monkey. The cabins were comfortable and cool and we had a relaxing stay. They also take care to recycle which is especially pleasing. The only slight downside was the lack of more comfortable communal seating out of...

You forget that there is an outside world when you stay at this lodge. David was very helpful.; thanks the seating at dinner (at long tables) you get to know the other guests really well. The nature walk with Gabriel to the Sirena area of the Corcovado NationalPark was brilliant.

After a very bad start at the neighbours (Corcovado tentcamp) we moved to Las Caletas which was everything we expected. Jolanda is a great host who knows what her guests need. Our tent was clean and comfortabel, great location, helpfull and friendly staff and absolutely great food|! The only downside is the cold water showers when staying in a tent.

A superb location just above the bay on a hillock with a superb seating area beneath a massive tree. Great lookout point to spot the friendly local Toucan and pairs of squawking Scarlet Macaws in the forest behind. We stayed in a tent which was perfect in the 'glamping' style: very private, view of the ocean, enough space and everything...

This lodge is built into the jungle on a bluff overlooking the sea. The setting is spectacular with an amazing array of bird life, monkeys, and beautiful vegetation. The lodging is very comfortable without disturbing the natural environment. The owner and all of the staff are very efficient, accommodating and helpful. All of the tours are well organized. The food...
