Wonderful place surrounded by the nature... You can see monkeys playing on the trees, tucans... hawks.... We made the whales tour and it was great and the day after we did the Corcovado - Sirena trip - seeing whales also on the way back!!! Awesome!!! The food is spectacular!!!! The rooms are simple but hey... look where you are!!! and...

The rooms are clean and comfortable, although some are better than others. Room 4 is very nice. Room 2 is large and designed for 4-5 people. Both have nice views. Room 5 is private, but no view. The food is typical Costa Rican, with some nice meat, chicken and fish for dinners. Not as well set up for vegetarians but...

We recently returned from a 10-day trip to Costa Rica, during which we spent half our time in Manuel Antonio and the other half in Drake Bay at Las Caletas. What a phenomenally beautiful location! If you are looking for a peaceful, remote, relaxing place, this is it! The last time we traveled to CR we didn't make it this...

We have stayed at Las Caletas in the past a few times and it has become our "home" on the Osa Peninsula. We had the pleasure of meeting Yolanda this trip and celebrated her birthday. She departed and David arrived the next day. We spent four nights this trip. We made the trip down to Sirena to see what we...

last 3 summers we travelled around in Costa Rica and now we just spent 3 days in Las Caletas lodge. We enjoyed our stay and beyond doubt this plays is favorite spot in Costa Rica. They have lovely tours, the best food, a dream view, nice basic rooms with a nice bathroom and a very kind staff. Definetly a place...

We stayed at Las Caletas for 4 nights in one of the tents. I honestly think, listening to our travel mates , that the tents were cooler than the rooms. The shared bathroom was no problem at all. No bugs. Loved the open to the jungle feel. Great food. Tasty afternoon sweets. The boat rides too and from were lovely...

I've been to Drake Bay before and I had a 5-star experience. On this second visit, things didn't go as well because of badly set expectations on the part of the Las Caletas Lodge owners. I booked my stay well ahead of my arrival and at least a month before my arrival date I requested the activities I was interested...

My adult daughter and I spent 2 1/2 weeks on our first visit to Costa Rica and our stay at Las Caletas was the highlight. Gorgeous setting, quiet, great food and close to Cano Island and Corcovado National Park. We did the Sirena tour, snorkeling at Cano, and a guided night walk. We stayed in a cabin and were completely...

I went here with my cousins and we were very happy. We stayed in one of the tent cabins (the bathroom is shared). It's a beautiful setting a bit south of Drake Bay- an hour walk or a quick boat ride. Jolanda was really helpful with reserving our stay and the owner is very nice too. It's a 5 minute...

They charged us 50$ for the transfer to the airport which is a 5 minute boat ride and a 15 minutes Taxi ride. And the taxi even stopped on the way to take someone else! Same for the way there by boat from Sierpe they charged 40$ eventhough the boat was running anyways for groceries and bringing workers to the...
