The staff at Jinetes was professional, friendly, accomodating and very personable. We had lovely rooms, with a great view. The staff brings coffee and tea every morning, and the monkeys come to visit for coffee, too! We had a blast!

Friendly atmosphere. Clean and safe for two young women to visit. No city resturants or stores really but we were provided with everything we need through Jinetes. The family style dinners were a wonderful way to meet other travelers and make friends for the week. We had an excellent experiece on our way out to Isle de Cano with several...

We started our Costa Rica trip here. We received a warm and heart-felt welcome. The staff was willing to do anything to make us happy. I would stay here again in a heart beat!

My family stayed at Jinetes in early February, 2010 and had a wonderful time. We rent a car when we are in CR, so we parked near the Las Vegas restaurant in Sierpe and took the river taxi. It was longer than I expected, but was a nice ride through rivers and mangroves and out into the ocean. We were...

I selected this place as it was advertised as a dive operation. The only thing I would not rate excellent was the diving as the visibility was poor and and the site was picked to accommodate snorklers on the same boat and could not be changed. (They were honest and said the visibility was poor but only after I arrived)...

What a place, from the flight down and beach walk to get here we had fun every day. We had a package deal for a week that included four land tours and two days of diving. Corcovado National Park was our main attraction to this area and it did not fail us (except for not seeing a tapor). The rooms...

The location is remote and the hotel is basic, but it offers a convivial atmosphere (everyone eats meals together, most people go to the bar around 4pm for beers and snacks), and the remote location next to the ocean makes for a peaceful night's sleep. The activities are excellent, the service is excellent, and the food is especially excellent.

There are not many vacation destinations where both the teenagers and adults equally enjoy the experience. The staff are amazing. Nothing beats waking up early in the morning to the birds outside of your room, a hot pot of Costa Rican coffee waiting for you outside of your room, and a balcony to enjoy the sun rising over the bay!...

I did my four open water dives at Jinetes de Osa and got certified (did the pool and written test at home beforehand). My diving instructor was excellent and very detail oriented. All diving was done at Cano Island. Remember this is diving in the Pacific Ocean, so don't expect colorful coral reefs or great visibility (check YouTube for a...

Both Drake's Bay and Jinetes de Osa Hotel are small and rural by almost anyone's standards. Drake's Bay boasts a population of ~300 people (or at least so I was told) and the hotel, although full, only had ~20 guests. This makes it a friendly experience where you get to know the other guests. Dinner is included, held in one...
