I stayed five nights at this hotel and could have stayed much longer! The staff at the hotel (especially Giovanni and Sara) were incredibly welcoming, gave great suggestions and made you feel at home. There were mostly couples and families at the hotel, but I met another solo traveler who I became friends with during my time at the hotel....

We were booked by Pacific Trade Winds to stay at Jinetes de Osa, not knowing anything about Drake Bay or the Osa Peninsula. The hotel is right on the shore, situated at the end of a footpath within walking distance to the town. The accommodations are basic, but very clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were exceptional, attentive and friendly....

What a gem this place is! You have to take a boat taxi out the Sierpe river to get here and then they unload your luggage and carry it up the bank to this beautiful vista view where your room is. You will wake up to white faced monkeys clamoring around on the tin roof. If it rains...forget about talking,...

This is a wonderful mid range hotel. All rooms have ocean views. The restaurant is located steps from the ocean with lovely views. The staff are excellent. They ensure you are comfortable and help you decide which adventure you want to partake in. The location is on the edge of the bay, about a 10 minute walk along the beach...

Imagine riding on a boat, up the coast of Costa Rica to a spot that you literally can not believe is real. The locals hold the boat as you hop off, knee deep in the beautiful sea and in utter disbelief. This is how you arrive to Jinetes de Osa Hotel and it is something you will talk about for...

Curious little place. Small open air breakfast/dining area. Doesn't seem to be many rooms. Right on the beachfront. Lunch and dinner on offer are not fantastic but ok. Breakfast was pretty good. Organised snorkel and diving trip was very successful and we saw several whales. Staff were fine, didn't experience the pushiness others have mentioned. It's all a bit basic...

The breakfast included in the price of the room is a buffet where you can order a cooked breakfast + help yourself with fruits, bread, pastries etc. I loved it! The staff is very thoughtful, very nice. We did a few tours such as Diving and snorkeling...

Everything from the hotel, location, staff, and food was incredible. The hotel was exactly what we were looking for- we stayed 3 nights. The location is great- walking distance to everything that we needed. The staff was great and made everything seamless. They were able to book all of our excursions and took the time to talk to us. From the time I started planning to the last day at Jinetes de Osa Hotel, the staff made all things seamless. They made all arrangements for excursions and travel from and to San Jose. Carlos, Rolando and Michael were very helpful. Giovanni and Erick made the snorkeling and dive excursion exciting and safe. Roy was an excellent guide to Corcovado....
