We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Horizontes and the Drake Bay area. What a perfect combination of relaxation, adventure and most of all truly gracious and accommodating hosts. We stayed in the Casa del Bosque Cabin for most of our 6 day stay and this was the type of accommodation we like... great ocean and jungle view, fridge with...

We loved staying in Casa Horizontes! The room with a view was great, the food was great and the people where fantastic! The setting was such that we eat dinner at a long dining table with the rest of the guests at the hotel. This led to some great meetings and ended in friendships. Monkeys come and greet you in...

We stayed only 3 nights but we were treated like gods: The owners, cook and staff took great care of us, the food was just excellent every time. You're served at table, with candles and a different meal every evening. They also do changes if you have any allergies or a specific alimentation They really put a lot of work...

Very nice view from the balcony. Every day different birds and a specific kind of monkeys nearby, to see from the balcony. Diner very good and cheaper than in the village. Recommendation: ask for the guide Elie. She is a very good and pleasant guide. We were on a trail with her to the waterfall. Trail starts at the restaurant...

We stayed for one week and it was incredible. The casas are literally IN the jungle, and you wake up to the sound of nature. We even saw whales playing in Drake Bay! Yami, Pedro, Maria and Porcha are adorable and do everything they can to make you feel home. Yami's sister, Elía, is a guide, who planned individual tours...

My husband and I spent a couple of days at Casa Horizontes. Jami and Pedro, the family who hold the house, are very welcoming and very attentive. They make sure you're having a great time there and offer you tips and directions about the area. They can also organise excursions for you. We went to Corcovado parc and also on...

We loved every day we spent in Casa Horizontes. The garden is beautiful, monkeys came few times to the balcony, you can see agouti and scarlet macaw, iguana, toucans....! Spectacular view of the Drake Bay. Hotel is beautiful, with all the wooden floors. Our bungalow was hidden in a garden, we had privacy and could feel like in a jungle....

Family of Yani and Pedro is the essence of hospitality you can only find in Costa Rica! The cabinas we stayed at were very comfortable and views were simply breath-taking! This is a perfect place if one is tired of travelling and want to embrace the nature and relax at the one of the most biodiverse places on Earth. I...

Yami and Pedro are the very definition of Costa Rican hospitality. From our correspondence over email before arriving, to the ride from the airport, to booking excursions, they took care of us as if we were a part of the family. In fact, all the staff at Horizontes were truly incredible. My girlfriend has many major food allergies (wheat, corn,...
