I spent a week at Manu Resort with a yoga/meditation group. The owner is easy to work with. The buildings are really beautiful with such attention to detail, especially in the woodwork. The view from the house toward the Pacific ocean is really lovely. The weather was comfortable 80-ish degrees F. The location is about 15-20 minute drive into Dominical,...

My wife and I just got home from one of the most divine vacations we've ever enjoyed! Hatha yoga and meditation every day at the Manu Villas was a deep dive into ourselves in a supremely luxurious location. The buildings are set around a small peak in the jungle just north of Dominical, Costa Rica's surfing capital. They are connected...

Our group, 3 couples in our 50’s & 60’s, stayed in Bosque en el Cielo villa in September. Lynne, the owner, was so easy to work with and always responded promptly to our emails and answered all our endless questions. We booked online and paid through VRBO, and all was handled effortlessly and efficiently. We arrived over an hour late...

Manu Villa sits on top of the clouds! It is an adventure to get to the Pacific Coast from San José but it is worth every bump in the road. There are great local tours nearby, snorkeling, a surf lessons or zip line at the Hacienda Baru but once you arrive at the Villa you do not have to leave....

Alex and Grace were fantastic hosts. We just returned a week ago and couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. While the homes are in Costa Rica, it truly feels like your in a Bali resort with jungles all around the look and feel of teak. I had an initial concern about being too close to other villas, but...

My husband and I spent 5 nights here on our honeymoon in July. It was the most perfect place to get away from civilization, yet still enjoy some adventure. The area was gorgeous and the accommodations were perfect. Grace is a fantastic cook and great host. They are nearby enough to help, yet give you privacy as well. I highly...

We could not have picked a better place for our honeymoon! It's a little piece of Bali perched high in the jungle of Costa Rica - overlooking the beautiful Pacific! 5 stars all around. Alex and Grace are incredible hosts. The property itself is gorgeous and truly unique. Beautiful grounds, amazing views of the jungle and ocean, and both the...

You know it's a great trip when your 13 and 10 year old ask if they can come back every year. From the minute we pulled onto the property, it was an outstanding experience. Grace and Alex have created a beautiful hideaway perched above a sweeping valley that converges with the Pacific. Each part of the day brought magical wildlife...

We can't say enough about our recent stay at Manu Villas Pavilion! The private mountain villa surrounded by the lush rainforest with spectacular views of the Pacific is absolutely beautiful. The villa was immaculate with well kept grounds. The infinite pool, that appears perfectly perched on the mountain side, is the perfect spot to relax with a glass of wine...

My experience at Manu will be highly memorable, from the location (a breezy jungle-top spot overlooking the rushing waves of the Pacific.. privacy.. friendly and attentive caretakers nearby) to the grounds and house. The patio is perfect for sunbathing, with a fresh, cool infinity pool surrounded by the exotic flora and fauna of this region. I enjoyed the frogs, birds,...

“Free wifi in the Dining/Main meeting Room. Surprisingly good internet connection for a place that seems so remote! If you work online you can work from here! Wifi reaches the private room at the north end of the meeting room and to the first room across the path to the south of the meeting room. We did not need the A/C.”
