We actually had a suite which had fridge and microwave, two televisions. The bathroom was a bit small but very clean. The bed was quite comfortable. Room climate system was great. The front desk clerk when we checked in was very friendly and pleasant. When we returned to our room after being out our key cards didn't work and there was no one at front desk. We waited in lobby for almost 30 minutes before a clerk returned. She responded quickly to program new cards. We would definitely return to this property.
Enjoyed our stay. Location was perfect for us. All new remodeling, painting, furniture, and decor made the place like it was just built. Staff was ultra friendly. Breakfast was moderate in quality, but the highly competitive price made up for it. Mabel took care of our room a did a beautiful job of keeping the room neat and clean.
Upon arrival we found the elevator was not working. This is a problem for their clientele this time of year. With spring training occurring most of the people checking in were seniors. I have bad knees but did get upstairs. Some people were too affected to use the stairs and waited hours. In our first room the toilet did not work. We were assigned another room quickly which we appreciated. I had the feeling they were remodeling in the rooms. It was fine but the hall carpets were very dirty and I saw paint stains and construction dust. The breakfast was very disappointing. We left without partaking. Tired of liquid eggs and the sausage looked gray.
Arrived in February 2020. Interior painting and renovation going on. No hooks or towel racks in bathroom. Never told when we booked the place was under renovation. We have friends close by but will never stay here again when in the area just because of the inconvenience this place caused us ! Sorry you have lost a customer!
Our visit has been during your renovation, rooms remodeled, new shower tiling and floors, carpets, walls painted, etc. It has been interesting seeing the work being done and how much the management and employees have done to keep disruption to a minimum. Contract workers were very polite and cleaned up each day, too. You are very lucky to have Mabel as an employee. She is looking out for the guests, the staff she manages, and interacting with the construction crew. She has a real eye for organization and she catches things that might be overlooked. As we check out, the pool is open and only a little painting needs finishing. Within a few days this major renovation will be completed. Very nice job!! We have enjoyed our visit.
