We are new to RV parks. We don’t have an RV and considered buying one, but wanted to check out some of the resorts in the area first. Sunflower has everything you’d want in amenities, but the rental we were given gave us major allergy issues (dogs and mold). The unit was very old and so were the furnishings. The floors were spongy and everything was super outdated, dark, dingy, and smelled musty. There went our 5-day vacation, as they had nothing else to offer us. We asked for a park model and got a trailer. We asked for pet free and did not get that. In all fairness to the gal who arranged our rental, we did just book it a short time ago. Sadly, we had to leave after just one night. We were, however, really impressed with all the amenities! Quilting, wood carving, stained glass, stitching/knitting, paper crafting, wood shop, musical productions, fitness center, ballroom, tiki bar, bistro, 2 pools, hot tub, steam room, nice showers. So would rate amenities a 5, but because of our bad experience, I only gave it a 3.

Nice park. The tiki bar and restaurant has good food and drinks. Happy hour is great. Things to do are good. Good bands playing daily. My problem was they put us by the dumpsters. The garbage trucks come several days a week at 7:00 am. They're noisy! People get up early to recycle and throw there garbage away. They're noisy! They also love to walk there dogs by the garbage bins. Even though there are dog walk areas. I'm not opposed to any of this but why 7 A.M. !!!

We are here in Jan 2020. Rv parking , back left corner of park , view is the wash. Near dumpsters, level sites and ample parking. Full hook ups, escorted to site. Friendly staff, nice pools, tiki bar nice for happy hour, bistro nice for breakfast. Laundry facilities nice and you meet many peeps and here about the park from regulars and those passing thru. Lots of activities and welcoming clubs, just no enough time. Cons: bright overhead lites over RV area, in pathway of jets that start at 6:30 ish every morning. Only one area for gathering so parking is a bit tight unless you drive a golf cart. Would stay again....

This location does not really cater for RVers. It is nicely set up for the mobile home owners. RV spots are bare and near the dumpsters. The facilities though are nice, warm clean showers, nice pool, computer room and then some. The staff was excellent. We stayed for 2 weeks while visiting family in the area so we unplugged every day and returned at night so it served our purpose (location & electric hook up) but it's not really a spot where you would set up a camp area to hang at your site. If you stay here with an RV request a spot as far away from the dumpsters as possible as they are actively visited throughout the day and have multiple large truck pick ups per week.

April is an excellent month to rent a park home. Less people. Pool is fantastic. Tiki bar had great drink and food specials daily and free bands every night. Great place to walk. Available tennis courts, pickelball, horseshoe, restaurant, card and pool tournaments. Many good restaurants near by.
