This was a last minute stop and I think I inadvertently stumbled upon a gem. The house is beautiful and the hosts welcoming. The area is so peaceful and its nice to sit on the deck and just chill out. We had the Hacienda room which was lovely. Breakfast was simply a work of art with lots extra of little... More

My boyfriend and I were in Sedona for a wedding and decided to stay at Sedona Bear Lodge instead of one of the lesser brand chains (that were charging more that weekend!). The location is great - just off Hwy 87 a little west of the center of town. The lodge is a house in a residential area that was... More

Simply marvelous B&B experience. As many reviews have stated, Myles and Masumi are truly very welcoming, down to Earth hosts, who go above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable during your stay. Breakfast is everything you will read about in the other reviews! I felt very welcomed and treated like an old family friend, during my stay, and I... More

Myles and Masumi really make you feel at home, they're just really nice, laid back, genuine, down to earth, fantastic people, really can't say enough positive about them. Breakfast was great and a challenge to finish most days because it's so hearty (breakfast meats, fruit, shredded potatoes, eggs, etc) and just when you think you're done you get a little... More

Sedona Bear Lodge is located in a quite residential area with easy access to 89A. Late June 2016 we stayed 4 nights in the bunkhouse suite. The breakfasts were outstanding and the warmth and friendliness of the hosts, as well as other guests, made our stay in Sedona memorable. The bunkhouse can easily sleep 4 in one bedroom, and the... Staying at the Sedona Bear Lodge was a fantastic part of our trip to Sedona. The owners were amazing hosts - so kind, thoughtful, accommodating, and caring. They made our trip very special. The lodge itself is beautiful, clean, and well-kept. The rooms are very comfortable. The lodge is not far from downtown Sedona, about a ten minute drive. We... More

Sedona Bear Lodge is situated in a very quiet location just off the main strip in West Sedona. Our 2 nights at this 4 room b&b were both comfortable and peaceful. Myles and Masumi were perfect hosts providing invaluable help with excellent hikes and restaurants. Myles put a lot of effort into his inventive breakfasts. Our Indian Garden room on... More

The location of this B and B is in West Sedona not far by car from the Uptown shopping district. Myles and Masumi could not have been nicer and were very helpful in giving advice on things to do for the single day we were there. The breakfast was awesome and plentiful; basically cooked to order. The room was well... More

If we had stayed anywhere else our trip would not have been so carefree and wonderful. Myles and Matsumi were the ultimate hosts, going above and beyond any B & B hosts in our experience. They didn't miss a single detail. Exquisite breakfasts. Great suggestions, maps, guide books, hiking sticks, stargazing and planet identification, hot tub, it goes on and... More

“We stayed in the Indian Garden room. It is very private and has it's own deck for star gazing. We could also see hot air balloons in the distance each morning from the deck. The bed is very comfortable. This room and private bath were fine for the two of us but a little on the small side so if you need extra room you should book one of the larger rooms. Our friends stayed in the Country Garden room. It had a lot of space. The website warns that the door opens into the breakfast area but that was not a problem at all. I would not hesitate to stay in this room.”
