Red Agave was our home base for about a week in Sedona in early April. The staff was beyond accommodating. They became friends and family after just a few days! Each and every staff member was warm, welcoming, and made sure we were having a great time. We were traveling with our 7 year old son and they made sure he had lots to entertain himself with - pool noodles, water guns, balls, a baseball bat, bean toss, etc. There were multiple families staying there and all the kids played together, made s'mores together and had fun in the pool. It was the most community-feeling, family-friendly resort I've ever stayed in. The staff was the main reason for that, but also the set up - number of rooms, a common courtyard area and pool/jacuzzi. It truly felt like a home while we were on vacation. We stayed in a chalet (Echo Canyon) and had the room stocked with groceries before we even arrived. Each night we grilled out and ate out on the picnic tables (which was a fun way to meet people and save money on the expensive restaurants in the area). The chalet was the perfect size for my husband and I along with our 7-year old son and two of our friends. The kitchenette was a perfect setup and the beds were SO COZY! Access to a trailhead right in the backyard was clutch. We went for daily walks and explored the trails in the area without needing to worry about the crowded parking lots. Staying just south of Sedona is the prime location too. Uptown can get super crowded with lots of traffic, but we were able to escape the rush of people and soak in the beauty of Sedona all from our resort. We stayed a total of 5 nights and I recommend staying at least 3 if you can . It is worth it to settle in and just enjoy the atmosphere. I cannot say enough about this place. I've never visited Sedona before and am lucky to have stumbled about this fabulous place. It has set the standard SO HIGH that I don't know if I could ever stay anywhere else. Red Agave made our family vacation an experience we will never forget. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! We will be back!

I loved this place. You cannot beat the location (can hike and bike right from the property and walk into town for food and bike rentals). The views are outstanding. Mountains and desert! Amenities include a fire pit with smores every night, private kitchen with everything you need, propane grills for BBQing, heated pool and hot tubs for after hiking/biking, standalone chalets for privacy, lots of outdoor seating and activities (corn hole) so that you can enjoy the scenery, and ample parking. The staff is very accommodating. Chalets are small but clean. The view from the lofts are a 10. The spiral staircase is a head bonker, so watch out. The living area could use one more comfy chair so that a family of four has enough seating. Overall, I'd call this place a perfect March getaway. Will be back!

We loved our stay in Chalet A! Just wished we could have stayed longer! The setting couldn’t be more beautiful, the room was clean and the grounds are well maintained. My 7-year-old spent tons of time in the pool / hot tub day and night. The beds are super comfy and all the staff were friendly. It was fun sitting by the fire roasting s’mores at night and chatting with other guests. I am looking forward to planning a girls getaway here in the future!!

This is the second year we've stayed at Red Agave and enjoyed a couple of days of hiking. it's become a favorite for our 9 & 10 year old boys as they can hike right outside the door. It's a beautiful setting at the base of the mountains. The accommodations are extremely clean and unique which makes it even more fun for the kids. The pool, hot tub and fire pit with s'mores are a perfect addition. Small and quaint but with restaurants and groceries within walking distance. We will be staying there each year when we visit Sedona as part of our annual Phoenix Spring Break trip.
