We arrived at the Penrose Bed & Breakfast about 2:15 PM, technically before check-in time, and were told that the room may not be ready yet - but yes, it was. Sort of. The housekeeper/caretaker said she got the rosters mixed up and didn't pre-cool the room and their air conditioning system works only on low and it takes a...

It's amazing place to stay for a couple, our room had a big windows with a bell rock view. The whole B&B is very clean, owners give a lot information about the area and breakfast there is incredible. Couldn't miss it every morning. I think it's only 20-30min walk to the trail from there, 5min drive

We stayed for 6 days and not a day went by when the view didn't pay for the room. A few staff members will always have a warm place in our memories. They were kind, genuinely cared and I would go back in a heartbeat if I could. The breakfasts were very good, they worked with our food allergies. Due...

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away from the stunning red rock scenery and charming B&B! Hosts Christie and Whitney were more than gracious and very informative. We thoroughly enjoyed our lovely room, gourmet breakfasts on the sunny patio, and homemade sweet treats each night! We have already recommended The Penrose to friends and family and hope to...

The view is what sells bed-and-breakfast. It backs up to Red Rock State Park and the view from the bedrooms are spectacular. The house is beautiful and very nicely decorated. The breakfast was very good and so was the service. We have a few observations that we noticed. The owners did not greet us upon our arrival, the cook did...

The views are great. We found this to be a better location than Sedona proper. Everyone here cares about the finest detail of your stay. You will be taken care of. Great food, snacks, etc. Fun to share a meal on the deck with others from around the world. I would easily go back again.

4.5 stars. Lovely B&B--both the food and the views are incomparable. This not your standard continental breakfast--we had a 2 night stay and our breakfast dishes included raspberry poached pear over vanilla yogurt, chili lime mango and maple pecan bourbon french toast. They change the menu every morning and use fresh ingredients. You can sit outside on their deck with...

The Penrose is located in a neighborhood in the Village of Oak Creek. It is very close to some of the best hiking: Bell Rock and Cathedral Rock. It is about 10-15 minutes away from the busy part of Sedona where many of the shops are. The inn is very nicely decorated and is situated against some of the red...

When our daughter's eyes widened as Whitney talked about scorpions, I knew it was a worthwhile trip. We clearly weren't in Kansas - or, in our case, Pennsylvania - any more. To those considering, we say run, do not walk, to book your stay here! Gracious informed hosts, kind surprises and wonderful breakfasts await. Listen to every bit of advice...

What a hospitable place with beautiful views. We stayed in the Coconino room, and you can see the view from the picture attached. The hosts could not have been more accommodating, and breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back!
