Came here for an anniversary trip. We were recommended L’Auberge and Enchantment Resort, but decided on L’Auberge bc we wanted a boutique hotel feel. Overall, it was a pleasant stay but a few things were very disappointing for what I expected to be a 5 star hotel. ***PROS*** Location - close to town, next to the creek which is beautiful to dine by or for a stroll Spa - enjoyed our couples massage and facials, but the facilities felt old and tired Staff - very friendly and good service Stargazing - this is a free activity offered on site and it was fantastic. Dennis was highly knowledgeable and entertaining. 5 stars! ***CONS*** Room - we were upgraded to a cottage but I was disappointed bc the furniture was old and worn. The closet drawer wouldn’t close smoothly, wood was chipped, vents were dirty, no hand shower, etc Bugs - we had to kill quite a few bugs and mosquitoes. I get we are in nature, but not what I want to deal with in my room. Restaurant - food was decent but we were SO DISAPPOINTED with the long wait for our food that we cancelled our reservation to eat there on our anniversary. We had to wait ONE HOUR after our apps came for the entrees to arrive, then another day we went for breakfast and waited 45m just for some simple dishes. I was shocked. Pool and Hot Tub - small but enjoyable. Only downsides were construction next to the pool area and the food stand was closed when we went at 3pm which was surprising. We ended up calling the front desk for a cocktail and snack and they brought it in 30m.…
We loved staying here! The location is great and staff exceptional. There was a bottle of wine waiting in our room for my birthday. Everyone was knowledgeable and so friendly! The food was terrific. Setting by the creek really special.
We stayed at the L’Auberge in Sedona for a a few days. The location is to say the least enchanting, the grounds are gorgeous and the accommodations are first class. The breakfast and dinner area located next to a mountain stream are like out of a fairytale. Best of all was the staff, professional and super friendly and helpful. L’Auberge congratulations you know what you are doing.
We had a very fun and relaxing stay at L'Auberge. The property is showing quite a bit of wear and tear - the rooms have loose tiles and old (threadbare and chipped) furniture, and the hot tub is full of chips. Several outdoor lights are broken. The bath tub in the spa cottage is NOT for soaking as the overflow drain is way too low, you can only fill it with enough water to maybe cover an adult halfway. Disappointing as the tub was one of our main reasons for booking. However the bed was very comfortable, the deck on our cottage was spacious, and the staff is generally very good. We did have some issues getting a luggage cart and our car upon checkout, but otherwise everyone was great. The hotel provides some free snacks and waters upon check-in, and there is always free water and fruit in the lobby, which we greatly appreciated. The concierge helped us book some activities for the week, which was amazing. They recommended a guide for a night hike that was really a great experience. Overall, the property clearly needs an influx of cash so they can make some renovations, but I would still stay here again. …
I just finished a wonderful few days at l'auberge. The cabin was larger than apartments I've lived in and the staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. The only feedback I had was that the restaurant was slow (it took a long time to get our food) and the vegetarian options for lunch weren't great, but apart from that, everything exceeded my expectations.
The first thing I should say is this hotel is in a stunning location on the banks of the river but so close to the center of Sedona so a perfect combination for me. We stayed in one of the cottage rooms which were beautiful and very romantic. My only criticism would be the bathroom was very small, in comparison to the room, and surprisingly basic. Everyone at the front desk and valet were extremely helpful. The pool area was small and in a slightly strange location but my biggest issue was with the sun loungers which incredibly uncomfortable. My main reason for not giving the hotel a 5 star rating was the restaurant. The food was average for the price and the breakfast service was terrible. The servers didn’t seem to care and at times were rude. Having said that this is definitely a hotel I would return to for its location alone.…
Stayed in a Premier Cottage by the creek. Wonderful, relaxing stay. Great customer service from check-in at arrival, guest services, restaurant staff, housekeeping and valet! No complaints. It was just what my husband and I needed!
L'Auberge Sedona has been one of my favorite places to stay. I have been coming here for years, and when my dog was alive and traveled with me - they were really good to her. They welcomed her by name and always had her favorites in our cottage. The staff, the grounds, the cottages and rooms, the spa and the restaurant and bar - are all 5 star. I Love coming here for some downtime and to recharge! Classy and kind - I love the personal service and attention versus snoody boody attitudes you get at some resorts in Scottsdale. Absolute luxury. Bonus - you can walk up the back way to the town and get some great exercise to the shops, cafes, bars.... and fun in town!
Everything from the booking experience to arrival to departure was so carefully curated. The resort itself is isolated and directly along Oak Creek, but close walking distance from many shops and restaurants. The resort has chauffeur who drive you anywhere within 1 mi radius of the resort and pick you up again when you're ready. We will return soon and highly recommend.
My partner and I dined at Cress on Oak Creek for her birthday during our trip to Sedona. The experience was truly unforgettable, thanks not only to the enchanting setting along the creek and the incredible food, but also to our fantastic waiter Danny. He anticipated our every need and made every interaction fun and friendly. Would absolutely return and highly recommend this place. Huge thanks to all the staff, for making it a birthday to remember, especially Danny!
