Travellers' Choice
L’Auberge de Sedona is a destination like no other. With scenic backdrops that steal your breath away, we have the privilege of being one of the most beautiful hotels in the world. Our manicured grounds meander through the wooded banks of Oak Creek and overlook Sedona’s fabled red rocks. In this tranquil setting, time seems to pass a bit slower. Our warm, intuitive staff goes above and beyond to ensure that each stay is enriching and unique. 88 meticulously appointed guest rooms and cottages are spread across 11 acres of landscaped grounds. Cottages have fireplaces and private decks; most have separate outdoor showers and a few are even open to canine guests. Dine on our creekside patio, and you’ll see why Cress on Oak Creek was named "One of the Top Ten Restaurants in the Southwest" by Condé Nast Traveler. We’ve also received the Wine Spectator’s "Award of Excellence" 19 consecutive times. A $25 million refurbishment introduced a new wine bar that opens onto a shaded patio and an expanded spa. From morning yoga sessions and duck feedings to evening stargazing and s’mores, guests are invited to submerse themselves in an elevated, Sedona experience. However, do not simply take our word for it – take a moment to read what our guests have to say.

The bar dining crew was consistently deplorable, polishing glasses chatting with one another empty glasses all around needed refills, menu changes poorly executed not the kitchens fault the servers , waiting 20 minutes fir service finally just moving to the bar, she’s on an extended break I was told, bartenders trying fill table orders by memory so ignoring the bar patrons so they can remember them and fill them first with a packed bar of empty or no glasses repeated breaking glasses..

We are so sorry to hear that you had a poor experience at the bar and restaurant. That is certainly not the type of service we strive to provide to our guests. Rest assured that this will be addressed with the team so that we can prevent this moving forward. We've sent you a separate email as well but please feel free to reach out by phone if you'd like to speak directly with a member of the management team, (928) - 282 -1661.

Time seems to slow down at L'Auberge. The staff is incredibly helpful and efficient, the rooms are beautiful and the grounds are perhaps the prettiest in Arizona. Sitting at on of the fire pits by the creek you forget there is troubles and COVID in the world.

We stayed for 3 days in March and found the service to be excellent during our stay, including valet, room service and restaurant. We would especially like to thank Lee, JP, Eric, Jorge and Gosser for their service. Despite being located in a busy area of town the property was quiet and peaceful, facing the mountains. We stayed in a vista cottage which offers a great view as the name suggests, ours was located above the parking area which is not necessarily a bad thing just something to be aware of if you want to feel fully immersed in nature. The only downside is more of a comment on Sedona than L'Auberge. I am not sure I would choose to stay in this area of town again. Once you get off the property it is a very congested area of town, which you have to encounter if you intend to go shopping, dining, or to any of the trailheads. This might be desirable for many travelers, but coming from a resort town ourselves and trying to avoid that, we would choose to rent a home further out if returning. Or, visit during a low season (I think it was still spring break when we visited, but the past year has been one very long spring break so hard to say...). Overall L'Auberge provided a very nice stay, thank you.

We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your time at L'Auberge de Sedona! We will certainly pass your kind words along to our wonderful valet team and restaurant. We are truly lucky to have an engaging and excellent staff. We also can understand your sentiment regarding the traffic in Sedona at this time of year, might we suggest a visit in January or February when it's a little quieter. We look forward welcoming you back!

Sky at the front desk was great and engaging. The valet/bell hop team are fast, incredible and kind. The serving staff was a bit of a let down which led us to eat elsewhere other than breakfast via room service. The rooms and property are perfect and the spa staff highly trained/skilled.
