0* for the bartender, 5* for the managers that reached out. The bartender at the rooftop bar (Alex), above the spa, called my friend and I "bitc***". Here's what happened: I flew in from the midwest to visit my friend, we were so happy and excited to have a spa day together (setting the mood here). We went up to the pool, noticed no chairs were available in the sun, but a couple were in the shade. We also noticed a young pool helper, helping others. We walked towards him but he had left, so we said to the bartender (Alex) "is it possible for the pool helper to move a couple chairs for us from the shade to the sun"? Alex rudely and with a horrible attitude said "NO, we don't move the chairs, the stay where they are". I thought he must be having a terrible day and decided to ignore him. I then started looking for spots to set our towels, then I hear my friend say "HEY, we are just here trying to get some lunch and enjoy the pool". I found out later, she said that because she witnessed Alex tell another bartender "they are Bitc*** with a capital B". She chose to tell me after we left so it wouldn't ruin my day. All the sudden these bartenders were nice, obviously understanding they'd been caught. I mentioned something on social media and two managers reached out. I will never know what Alex's problem was with us but I hope his unprofessionalism has been addressed. It's sad because I had an amazing massage by Tony but my friend and I don't want to return due to Alex.

Very nice resort vibes here. listing the pros and cons pros: - Very good onsite food options - Pool side cabanas are very reasonable price point - Quiet location - Bellhop staff - Golf course Cons: - A bit far from downtown Scottsdale and old town - Casitas are a bit older and not as nice as expected - Spa Manicure service Overall, would stay again, would choose one of the corner suites overlooking the beach or one of the fairmont gold suites where you can see the golf course. Would make plans to stay at the resort and use all the amenities, it is a bit far of a car ride or uber to get to oldtown/scottsdale. Very family friendly and pet friendly; however, there are nice adult only areas.

Fabulous property and the staff is gracious, friendly and go above and beyond. Restaurants are top notch and the staff in each is knowledgeable and very friendly. The catering group headed by Rob Anderson is the best one could hope for, they made our wedding experience stress free and beautiful for us and our guests.
