Beautiful hotel that is not too large. Easy to walk around between buildings and great to have free parking. Located just on the outskirts of Old Scottsdale and within walking distance. Rooms definitely need to be upgraded with old fixtures in the bathroom. Good service but nothing special. Great restaurant on-site and fun pool parties on Fridays and Saturdays. Quiet...

Thank you for your review TravelingSolo88. We appreciate the detailed overview of your experience. Sorry to hear about your issues at check in due to booking through a third party, the best way to ensure room type accuracy is to book directly with the hotel or on our website. Glad to hear that we were able to correct that for...

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights on a recent weekend trip. Some of the positive points were the very good food at the restaurant, the fun pool party vibe on Saturday, and the proximity of Old Scottsdale. Most of the staff are very friendly too, which helped mitigate our annoyance at many of the negatives. Unfortunately, we encountered a...

Thank you for your review SueLoo. We are pleased that you enjoyed Distrito restaurant, the fun pool party vibe, the proximity to Old Town Scottsdale, and our friendly staff. We do believe that feedback is a gift, so your thoughtful comments regarding the room's sliding door in the bathroom, the light switches, coffee table, internet, safe, housekeepers handling of the...

The Sagaro is an updated old hotel. The rooms are not attached to the front desk and restaurants. It is trying to be trendy but falls a bit short. The staff were terrific and the restaurant good. The rooms are a bit aged and need sprucing up (and it was already done I am sure). They are pet friendly and...

My friend and I booked a trip to Scottsdale for a girls' weekend and chose this spot. After staying at the Hiatt Place last year and being really disappointed with the pool and atmosphere, we did a lot more research this time around and settled on the Saguaro. This place was AWESOME! Upon arriving, we were greeted by staff that...

A place to see and be seen! We stayed two nights here. The room was nice and had many cute vintage touches, as well as robes and magazines. It has more of a motel feel than a hotel, so I'm not sure the price exactly fits the room (plus the $25 daily resort fee) but the grounds are bright, fun...

Thank you for the 4 star review downy2015! "Hip and Bright" summarizes The Saguaro Scottsdale beautifully! Those cute vintage touches you mentioned are meant to take you back in time with old cameras, postcards, books, pictures, etc. They are all unique pieces. You may have even noticed the vintage Arizona Highways Magazine in your room. Our collection dates back over...

I had a fantastic time at the resort. Our group of girls split a suite and two rooms which was super fun for my friend's bachelorette weekend! The staff was wonderful and the property was clean, well maintained and close to everything in old town. The cafe in the front lobby had amazing lattes and the most delicious pastries. All...

I've been there last week for one night. I was so excited to spend one night because the hotel was looking awesome over the internet. I was so disappointed, the room was small and so cheap. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Scottsdale is the place to go for art, shopping and nightlife in the Valley of the Sun. Now there's a hotel creating even more desire around the desert experience. The Saguaro has arrived, bringing with it a new look to where Old Town, the Arts district and Civic Center Mall meet. Bright, lush and vibrant, it's a fresh face amid Scottsdale's buzzing downtown scene. Guestrooms & Suites: The Saguaro experience begins, fittingly enough, outside amid the arid weather and brilliant sunlight of the Sonoran Desert. Each room exterior is accented by the color of a native desert flower, creating a visual spectrum throughout the resort grounds. Inside, your room's primary color is joined by contemporary and natural furnishings in wood and leather, including hand-crafted pieces imported from Mexico. Services & Amenities: A stay here is about relaxation, nature and yes, our two famous pools. Both are easy walks from every room, heated and ringed by cabanas. The Saguaro Spa welcomes you to de-stress even further. When it's time to recharge, the comprehensive fitness center will get you looking your best for around the poolside bar. Guestroom Amenities• All rooms renovated October 2016• Flat screen, wall mounted 42" HDTVs• Authentic, traditional Mexican furniture • Views of Old Town and Civic Center park (select rooms)• Outdoor patios or step out balconies • Soaking tubs and separate shower (suites)• Work desks• Wireless Internet• Stereo with iPod docking station• On-demand movies and music. Meetings: It's the weather. The golf courses: The deals closed over cocktails by the pool. Whatever the reason, Scottsdale is a top choice for corporate gatherings. The Saguaro provides over 15,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, with wraparound patios, fireplaces, and a fire pit. We're ready to make your event a strategic success. Scottsdale's business climate is dynamic. Companies headquartered in Scottsdale include APL, Dial, Fender, Go Daddy, Kahala Corp, Kona Grill, Medicis, P.F. Chang's, Rural Metro, iCrossing and Taser, to name a few. ... more   less
