This was an interesting venue for a conference of some 150 people. The meeting rooms were adjacent to the fire pits, pools etc, which made breaks very relaxing. Service was terrific throughout the resort; staff were all friendly and helpful. Rooms were good size with spacious balconies. The restaurant offerings were modest but several upscale restaurants were within long walking...

I live in UK but I've had 6 holidays here in the past 10 years - this is my first trip since it was sold. I've loved my stays here in the past so much I've encouraged friends and family to take the 11 hour flight to experience Firesky (old name) and the surrounding delights. In short after this visit...

I love this smaller 'boutiquey' type of resort! It's not a massive facility. It's very personable, clean and has two nice pools. I like that families can enjoy a separate pool with kids. The staff was very friendly and you can't beat the location, only a few miles from central Scottsdale. The pools are kind of small, but worked out...

When I pay $400 for a hotel room, I would expect some basics like a decent mattress, some standard premium channels like HBO, and an AC system that doesn't sound like it's 50 years old & wake you up at night because it's so loud. Unfortunately, we didn't get any of these things at the Scott-- insanely soft mattress, no...

The Scott is one of my favorite, most relaxing places in earth. We recently visited The Scott as part of a family Spring Training vacation. The room, while older in style, was spacious, comfortable, and had a beautiful pool view. The grounds are not traditional resort with sprawling pool space after pool space - it's more of a rectangle of...

We spent 4 nights here and were very satisfied. I chose this hotel because friends were at a nearby hotel with no more vacancy, so I went with location first so our day trips were easy to arrange (side note: they were very unhappy with their hotel and kept commenting on how much better this one was). First, the grounds...

I just returned from a 4 night stay at The Scott Resort with some friends. Overall, we had a great experience. - The location is key. We walked to breakfast, shopping and dinners in the Scottsdale area daily. - They do have a free shuttle, but each time we tried to take it the wait was about 30/40 minutes. We...

We joined a business conference here recently, and I was nervous about it simply because of previous bad reviews. While we didn't have a bad experience, the hotel also didn't blow me away. It was in a good location, seemed clean and had a few good amenities- the pool, the bar. It was a good place to stay- not exceptional...

We paid $900 for two nights that weren't worth half of that. I was up at 3 am on day two because my mattress was clearly crushed on one side causing me to feel like I was falling out of bed. I complained to the front desk at 5:30 am because no one was on duty before that. They assured...

I researched like crazy for a one day quiet retreat for my husband, two boys (24 & 16) and myself before we headed north toward the Grand Canyon. Sorely disappointed that The Scott allowed a conference to completely take over the main pool, bar, fire pits and other amenities without notifying or compensating the guests not a part of that...
