The host Alain is an open and friendly man making it very comfortable to stay here. If you plan to visit Giverny this is an excellent choice! The room is very comfortable and clean and in an old but fully renovated building. There are two 2-bedrooms and you can use a shared livingroom with many facilities. Everything is done with... More

Fabulous 2-day holiday in this charming guest house held by an amazingly hospitable family! We were here with my fiancé for Valentine's Day and although we arrived far too early for the normal check-in, we were warmly welcomed by Aminatou who prepared our room and gave us suggestions for local activities on a rainy day (which was our case!). Since... More

I have been corresponding with Alain, the proprietor, on Facebook for some time because of our mutual involvement in making raku pottery. When I visited France this fall, I wanted to meet him in person and that was the primary reason for my stay at Le Havre de Bennecourt. After a wonderful afternoon in Giverny, I met Alain and his... The B&B is located in a 18th century house. The owner (Alain) has done an excellent job renovating and decorating this charming house. We stayed two nights (one night in each of the bedrooms). Both bedrooms have newly renovated ensuite washrooms. The washrooms are equipped with good size shower stalls (no bathtubs) with excellent water pressure. The shower stall in... More

In addition to other positive reviews, I would add that the staircase to the rooms needs to be gingerly manoeuvred! We stayed in Africa-themed room. Large and spacious with a window that opened over the quiet street and a view of the Seine. The bathroom was also spacious and modern. Our only concern? The two wooden steps to the shower... More

This is a lovely B&B away from typical city hotels. Our host, Alain, explained the history of his home and refurbishing. Over the fireplace is a copy of a Monet painting with his house in it! The African and Asian rooms are beautifully decorated and comfy. We only spent one night, used the Wifi, relaxed in the living room, and... More

Just arrived home from a weekend in France where we stayed in this beautiful private B&B located just next to the river Seine. The rooms were beautifully decorated and had a lovely feel to them, both with very well equipped ensuites. Towels, hairdryers, extra tissue, earbuds and even wifi were included! There was parking on site in the courtyard. When... More

Sad to say we could only spend one night! This B&B was beautifully remodeled and had the best shower on our entire three week trip! Comfy bedrooms and lovely courtyard. It was also great having a place to park! Highly recommend!!!

Sorry about the long delay since we visited with Alain. Alain was a very gracious host. He guided us to two great restaurants and helped us with our visit to Monet's garden which went without a hitch (no waiting line). It was a beautiful day and we have dozens of great pictures. Our breakfasts were great also. We had the... More
