Imaging entering an 87-year old Victorian Inn in the heart of Prescott, AZ. The music of the 40's greets you as you feel yourself being transported to another time. You see the beautiful lobby, unspoiled by decades past. A friendly face welcomes you and you are checked in. But wait, you are on the 4th floor and you have lots...

We had such a lovely stay at this hotel! It's historic in every detail and beautifully restored from 1927. It's in the perfect location for enjoying downtown Prescott, and the service is truly first class. The lobby is beautiful - lots of comfy seating and wonderful antiques: large leather couches and chairs, a cozy fireplace, truly old pianos, even the...

My husband and I recently went there for a reception that was held in the lobby. It is another one of those old places we do not get to see much of in our neck of the woods. The staff was great, the food - so-so, although I am not big on junk like meatballs and mini quiches (which actually...

We arrived here several hours before check in and luckily they had a room open. The hotel is made of beautiful red bricks, perfectly stacked! The inside is restored as close as possible to the 100 year old look. It has the original elevator that must be operated by the staff. We chose the stairs to our room which was...

We came here for my brother's wedding and I must say that the service was awesome with the exception of the person tending the bar during his wedding (she was not very nice and provided mediocre service). But the persons at the front desk especially Spencer and those working the lobby including Sasha as well as the severs at the...

My friend and I have driven by the Hassayampa Inn for years and always say that we need to stay to experience the Inn. Well, one of those online coupons became available for the Hassayampa Inn, it was purchased and put to use. When we arrived and checked in, the front desk person was very nice and had a great...

The public spaces in the lobby and the patio are the best parts of the hotel. The sleeping room is small with the wash basin inside the sleeping area while the commode and tiny shower share the other space. I need a firm mattress and instead of them replacing the older mattress with a newer one they opted to put...

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to review the hotel. Your critical feedback helps us make needed improvements in service. I was not happy to see that you were not pleased with your accommodations; if made aware our staff can usually accommodate individual needs. Thank you for making us aware of the warm wine and slow service. Management has...

We selected this hotel because of it's proximity to the downtown square and nearby antique shops. We arrived Saturday morning, June 28th, around 10:30am, hours before check-in, but we knew our room would not be ready and we had already planned to spend several hours roaming the beautiful downtown area before check-in. The front desk staff offered to call as...

Spent the weekend to beat the heat and celebrate my birthday. We chose this hotel due to the location -- walking distance from the courthouse square. Booked a suite but Rayna (I think -- bad speller!) upgraded us to one with a great view when she learned it was my special day. The rooms were clean and the bed comfy....

Simply wonderful. The staff goes above and beyond. Clean and charming. Bathroom was a tad on the small side. Exiting the portico can be challenging. Parking is limited so be warned. A step back in time so worth it.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Known as the Grand Dame of Prescott, the Hassayampa Inn was built as a luxury Hotel in 1927 to entice Phoenix tourists to flee the summer heat. Nostalgic elegance with a restored 1920's style lobby, little has changed since the Inn first opened its doors 81 years ago, but every modern amenity you'd expect a 21st century hotel to offer, including high speed wireless internet. Enjoy world class cuisine in the ultra-fashionable, yet comfortable, Peacock Dining Room. Live jazz is frequent in the leisurely Cowboy Bar. Prescott's world-famous Courthouse square is a mere block away with endless boutiques and antique stores. ... more   less
