We selected this hotel because of it's proximity to the downtown square and nearby antique shops. We arrived Saturday morning, June 28th, around 10:30am, hours before check-in, but we knew our room would not be ready and we had already planned to spend several hours roaming the beautiful downtown area before check-in. The front desk staff offered to call as...

Spent the weekend to beat the heat and celebrate my birthday. We chose this hotel due to the location -- walking distance from the courthouse square. Booked a suite but Rayna (I think -- bad speller!) upgraded us to one with a great view when she learned it was my special day. The rooms were clean and the bed comfy....

Simply wonderful. The staff goes above and beyond. Clean and charming. Bathroom was a tad on the small side. Exiting the portico can be challenging. Parking is limited so be warned. A step back in time so worth it.

The Hassayampa Inn is a very nice historic hotel which has been restored but still has all the charm. The elevator is original and must be operated by the staff, but they are willing at any time. Great service. The rooms are small but very nicely appointed with up to date amenities. The shower/toilet room is very small but clean...

Three couples including me and my husband decided to celebrate our anniversaries which were all in June by having dinner at the Hassayampa Inn. The old hotel is beautiful and located in downtown Prescott across from the Elk Theater. I have had lunch at the inn several times and always enjoyed it. The personnel at the hotel are very professional...

My husband and I purchased the Romance Package and it was a great deal. Champagne, roses, chocolate covered strawberries, and breakfast in The Peacock Room. The room was a bit small but it is a historic hotel with added bathrooms. The historic atmosphere was delightful and well preserved. The bed was very comfortable with extra pillows that one usually has to...

If you are looking for all of the newest modern amenities, this hotel is not for you. It is a historic hotel with a lot of charm. My room was very small but adequate for on person. I know this is a personal preference, but I really didn't like the pillows and had a hard time sleeping. My window faced...

I love this hotel! My family stayed here for my mother's birthday. They are dog friendly, so we were able to bring our little terrier. The rooms are on the smaller side which is expected for a historic hotel. The hotel is charming and walking distance to downtown. They also have a nice restaurant and bar which was just remodeled....

My Elderly Mother and I stayed at the Hassayampa Inn for the weekend of May 31st 2014. First off I must say the place is so beautiful with it's old time decorations and the regal look of the lobby. There was practically no other people when we arrived. This was the memorial day. The front desk guy was doing a good job and very chatty at the same time. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Known as the Grand Dame of Prescott, the Hassayampa Inn was built as a luxury Hotel in 1927 to entice Phoenix tourists to flee the summer heat. Nostalgic elegance with a restored 1920's style lobby, little has changed since the Inn first opened its doors 81 years ago, but every modern amenity you'd expect a 21st century hotel to offer, including high speed wireless internet. Enjoy world class cuisine in the ultra-fashionable, yet comfortable, Peacock Dining Room. Live jazz is frequent in the leisurely Cowboy Bar. Prescott's world-famous Courthouse square is a mere block away with endless boutiques and antique stores. ... more   less
