We stayed at the Hassayampa Inn for 3 nights to celebrate our 23rd Anniversary and loved every minute. We stayed in a suite and there was lots of room, it was squeeky clean, with a fridge, microwave and comfortable furniture. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was elegant and delicious. It takes you back in time to the...

charming cozy hotel in downtown prescott just steps from Wiskey Roy. Amazing old building with stories to go with it reminds you of days past. Decor and lobby area are amazing next to the bar for a glass of wine or spirts. Stories are as wonderful as this hotel filled with charm just like the vintage elevator or antique furniture...

I'm glad I upgraded to a deluxe king, I can't imagine how small a standard would've been. The bed was horribly uncomfortable. Hotel was full of historic charm and was very convenient for walking to the square. For the cost- I wouldn't stay here again.

Hello Rachel, Thank you for taking the time to review the hotel. I am very sorry to hear you were not happy with your visit and the mattress. The mattresses are all brand new Serta Diamond collection with additional mattress pillow toppers so I am very sorry you did not enjoy them. I am happy to discuss this with you...

This hotel is pet friendly so we were able to stay with our dog Madeline. The pet friendly rooms are located on the second floor. The rooms are comfortable and include complimentary water. Our dining options were limited since we had Madeline with us however the hotel staff will serve you pretty much anywhere you would like. For breakfast we...

I have eaten at the Hassayampa Inn and the food is delicious. Last night I met some friends there in the lounge. It is beautifully decorated and a one man trumpet band was playing delightful music - trumpet, synthesizer and kongas. I am a lead trumpet player in two bands and 'Steve' is better than I am. He plays every...

The Hassayampa is a wonderful inn in a sweet little town. Great staff. Clean rooms. Very comfortable. And Prescott is a lot of fun. The Peacock restaurant is a gem. The food is the best in town. I would highly recommend both.

We spent last night at the beautiful and historic Hassayampa Inn in downtown Prescott. Location of exporting downtown Prescott is perfect. They have easy access parking across the street. We stayed in rooms with queens beds. While charming they are definitely on the small size. We were staying just one night so this was perfect. Were I stay for a...

The staff was very nice and the restaurant/bar were convenient, but the hotel itself was disappointing. The room was extremely small and the bathroom was flat out ridiculous. You had to step over the toilet to get to the shower! I understand you have to work within the constraints of an old building, but there's a difference between vintage and...

Hello, I am glad that you enjoyed the staff as well as the lounge and restaurant. I am sorry to see that you did not enjoy the hotel itself. Very unique and eclectic in design and décor. Loved it!! Lots of stairs if you do not take the old fashioned elevator that is manned by staff. That is very cool as well. The wedding we attending was in the building next door so all was very close.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Known as the Grand Dame of Prescott, the Hassayampa Inn was built as a luxury Hotel in 1927 to entice Phoenix tourists to flee the summer heat. Nostalgic elegance with a restored 1920's style lobby, little has changed since the Inn first opened its doors 81 years ago, but every modern amenity you'd expect a 21st century hotel to offer, including high speed wireless internet. Enjoy world class cuisine in the ultra-fashionable, yet comfortable, Peacock Dining Room. Live jazz is frequent in the leisurely Cowboy Bar. Prescott's world-famous Courthouse square is a mere block away with endless boutiques and antique stores. ... more   less
