The rooms were spacious, which was great for traveling with small children. Also, the rooms provided quite a few amenities, like Chromecast, a mini bar with fridge and sink, and a full size couch. However, the beds were uncomfortable and the rooms and common spaces showed a lot of unappealing wear, especially the bathrooms.
The Hyatt Place was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful. Hyatt standards are consistently good, in my opinion. Grab and Go breakfast option was just OK, but given the current COVID restrictions, perfectly acceptable.
Front Desk manager is horrible. Will not accommodate any of your needs. I had a blood stained comforter full of fake eyelashes which I didn’t notice for a couple days as I just got into the bed without inspecting. After getting scratched by a fake eyelash, I made the front desk aware of the dirty comforter. They said they would service my room and change the comforter, instead they flipped the comforter around, I inspected and found even more stains, the eyelashes were still in the comforter!!! The front desk manager refused to bring me a blanket, and never offered no contact service, in fact she said I had to come get anything I needed from the front desk bc of COVID protocols. I slept with just sheets that night. I was given new linens the following evening when housekeeping was completed with their other tasks and given a thin blanket bc they supposedly only have 1 comforter per room. The hotel is dirty, the elevators are filthy, the hallways were rarely cleaned. Food and trash remained on the floors for days, not large items but items that could have been vacuumed or picked up w a gloved hand. Some of the housekeeping staff seemed to care. The young lady that ran the desk in the mornings was very polite and always seemed to try to meet expectations. Everyday she cleaned the lobby and common areas on the first floor like eating areas and restrooms.…
Once a week or every other my wife and i get away from everything and have a just us night and day we choose hear everytime it feels like we're richer or something lol its clean and private and quite.
We were in room 335, Dirty carpet, Broken privacy/security lock, broken electrical/power box, shower did not work properly. Very disappointing stay as we are always pleased with Hyatt. The staff was not overwhelmingly helpful.
