The Resort staff and facility were excellent. The pool was in great shape and the beverage selection very creative. This is my third visit and the staff always exceeds expectation. Thank you Carlos for all you do to make the Royal Palms special.

Hotel's Favourite
My 2 nights / 3 day stay at Royal Palms was the highlight of my 3 night / 4 day trip to Scottsdale for Thanksgiving. During this period, I additionally stayed at the Phoenician (as a Marriott Ambassador member) and visited 4 other resorts (Fairmont, Scott Resort, The Sanctuary, and Andaz), and none were even close in terms of beauty or service as Royal Palms. I want to give a special shout out to Mina Garcia who provided the warmest welcome for my entire family and ensured that we received the utmost care and attention since check-in to check-out. Mina as well as the GM, Carlo, truly made me feel valued as a Hyatt Globalist member - from welcome champagne to a dedicated resort tour by Mina to a handwritten card from Carlo with 2 free cocktails at Mix Up. The staff also offered me an upgrade from a 2 queen bed standard room to a casita, which only have 1 King beds. As we had 3 members in the family, they provided us with the option of taking the upgrade to a casita with a roll away bed. Our casita was in a semi-private area facing the Camelback mountains and next to a pathway to T Cooks. The room had a toasty fireplace, the most comfortable bed (my parents melted into it), a shower and a large soaking tub with soap rose petals, scrub sponge, and a caddy to hold it all (so cute!). We The resort grounds were flawless as well - we were blown away by the unique desert-themed exterior, cleanliness, and the pure magical ambience from the resort (so magical that I have even added Royal Palms to my list of future wedding venues). We ended up skipping our dedicated day hike to Camelback mountain to further explore every inch of the resort grounds instead. Additionally, we had breakfast at T Cooks (a fantastic way to kick off the morning with fresh air on the beautiful patio seating and delicious breakfast) and 2 lunches at the Cabana Cafe (also fantastic service/care). Tremendous thank you again, and Hyatt should be incredibly proud to have this remarkable resort as part of its collection! Next time I'm back, I will certainly be sure to try their renowned spa, Alvadora, and drinks at Mix Up!

We stayed two nights at the property and had enjoyed our stay, although the general sense is the hotel is sorely understaffed. The rates for the property remain in the $400s+ for a standard room, but there was no assistance with luggage and there isn't sufficient signage to allow guests to take advantage of ramps to get to reception. Finding one's room was also a bit challenging and could be addressed with more signage. The room was large and comfortable, though can benefit from a bit of refresh. The resort is beautiful with small romantic private fountains and firepits throughout. The property also features live music by T Cook, but do book in advance as weekend tables fill up quickly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but felt the service level was lacking compared with other resorts we've stayed at in the state (though not in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area).

Dear Luwester - Thank you very much for taking the time to share the feedback of your stay with us. Upon reading your review, we have taken action to improve the placement and quantity of directional signage around the resort to better assist our guests in navigating our nine acres. We are delighted to hear you found the resort to be romantic, and enjoyed the fire pits and fountains throughout. We would love the opportunity to welcome you back and share the genuine passion our team has for caring for our guests the next time you are in the Scottsdale area. Thank you.
