I travel an average of 180 days a year for work. I love Embassy Suites and stay at them as much as I can. As a Diamond member for years, I can say Rob at the bar stands out as one of the most genuine people I’ve ever met. The entire staff, Billy, the food and beverage manager as well as Irene Contreras in sales are top notch. Everyone went out of their way to make this hotel stand out and make an impression. I will make sure I stay at this Embassy Suites anytime I come to Phoenix, not only because of the staff, but because it is a very clean and nice Embassy.
Beautiful hotel, staff was super friendly. Breakfast was a nice selection. Convenient to the Airport. No shuttle service. Only a $10 Lyft ride from airport. Close to shops~ public train and bus station.
I stayed one night here in early March to attend the Indian Art Festival at the Heard Museum. I wanted to be within walking distance of The Heard, it came down to this place or the Fairfield Inn. I opted for Embassy Suites since it looked nicer and I’ve had good experiences with this hotel chain in the past. I think I made the right choice. The check in experience was very pleasant as the staff greeted me and stored my bag while attended the festival. When I finally checked into my room, I found it to be clean and comfortable and the perfect size for a solo traveler. The hotel has a spacious lobby, a bar, and a good restaurant, which is helpful because there aren’t many places to eat within the immediate vicinity. There are more centrally located hotels for exploring Phoenix, but if you want to be within walking distance of The Heard or the Phoenix Art Museum, then this Embassy Suites is the ideal choice.…
My family stayed at this hotel returning home from San Diego from spring break. We arrived a little after 10 and checked in. After getting my family food and everyone relaxed for the night. I was abruptly woken by my boyfriend around 2am because he had gotten bit by what seemed like a bed bug. He had squished the bug that had bit him and left a blood stained bug corpse in the middle of the bed. After being placed in another room and alerted staff to the issue. I was told they had to “inspect” the room for bed bug “activity” and that would happen at 2pm that day. I was notified by Monica after 4pm that a third party and their house keeping staff would investigate our issue and concluded there is and was not “bed bug activity” in our original room. I’m sorry but who wakes up at 2am to being bit on the shoulder and side by a mysterious insect and nothing is done about it. But also how do you get a good night sleep after that? Thinking of the possibility of bring an unwelcome pest home after a great spring break with my children. I do not believe the situation was handled in any positive manner. Waiting around for most of the day for a phone call about an inspection that might have never even happened but also the attitude from staff after we were moved to a different room was completely uncalled for and extremely unhelpful. Moving 3 children, myself, my boyfriend and our dog after 2am was not exactly my idea of fun. I am getting bit wasn’t apart of the plan either. If I could rate this property less than 1 I would.…
Nice downtown hotel. Very attractive lobby and atrium. Breakfast buffet excellent with made to order omelets among other things. Evening reception was lacking in terms of variety of food and the free drinks were served in small cups but still OK. Bartenders were great and friendly. The room was different and a little tight. Not like other Embassy Suites I have been to with no separate rooms as I have had in other Embassy Suites. My room was cramped and very similar to any other hotel room but it had a sink, fridge and microwave.
Like staying in a portal-potty human waist kept climbing back to top of all of the toilets. From rooms to the down stairs guest toilet. Toxins were quite unnecessary an should have signs in place. Parking was terrible also
As a Hilton HHonors member, I was disappointed with my stay at this Embassy Suite. Found trash in the room at was not removed. The breakfast buffet no longer had breakfast meats as part of the menu. Front desk people couldn’t tell me anything about the metro bus route that runs on the street in front.
Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Dinner menu was great and the breakfast was outstanding. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, the suite we stayed in was exceptional. Highly recommend anyone checking this hotel out.
Typical Embassy Suites. Made to order breakfast was good. The happy hour is well staffed with friendly staff, Only complaint is the Wi-fi and Internet was spotty, Front desk staff was good and readily brought coffee, towels, shampoo etc. when requested, Housekeeping does not enter the room unless requested
Check your room for housekeeping before getting settled. Tub, sink, sheets, walls..my room was untouched by cleaning supplies. Checked in at 3:30pm and did not have time to switch due to wedding at 5pm. Did not use tub, had hair on sides and near drain. Used a clean towel to wipe out sink. Beds were made however after closer look they just flipped the top duvet over, stains on other side. Obvious fluid of some sort all over main door near wet bar. Very disappointed
