Staff was excellent. Room was clean and comfortable. The grounds were well kept and also clean. The pool is not heated so to cold to swim unless you were a determined kiddo. Very busy and a lot of weed being smoked. Definitely a place where young groups get together to party or have a high end weekend on a budget. Not really any place to walk your pets though, so be sure to bring bags to clean up wherever they go...mostly gravel.
This hotel was absolutely filthy! There was blood on the wall of our bathroom. The rooms were SO old and outdated! Everything smelled like an old folks home. The bed linens were worn and smelled awful. The staff was kind, and the pool was fun for the kids, but I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone! I can’t believe that Hilton actually puts their name on this property!
Beds are uncomfortable. The pool is a good size located outside. The to-go breakfast were just a bagel and yogurt. Understandably it’s COVID days but still I think Embassy Suites could provide better breakfast.
Our room had baseboards falling apart. There were men doing car repairs in the parking lot. The elevator was not clean. But the kicker...we got up early to shower and head to Grand Canyon. After one shower we discovered that there were only two bath towels! One of us had to use a hand towel to dry off. We were not told of the breakfast situation for the morning. The hotel is generally run down. We cancelled our return reservation and will stay elsewhere.
Overall very dated and used up property with nothing fun happening there as one would expect from an Embassy property. Great staff but hotel attracts unpleasant and noisy people with no regard for noise control Lots of smoking damage and smells around hotel
